Disciple of Prayer
Hello
I’m requesting a very powerful prayer as my partner ### & myself ### are under a spiritual attack. Due to this we are separated after ### years of being together. We had the perfect relationship then all of a sudden it fell apart really fast.

Thank you so much 🙏🏻❤️

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, for we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). First, we must address the foundation of this request—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, we are defenseless against the schemes of the devil, but in Him, we have authority to stand firm.

Now, we recognize the pain of separation and the sudden collapse of what seemed like a perfect relationship. However, we must rebuke the use of the term "partner" and the implication of a relationship outside of marriage. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, established by God for a lifetime (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you and this person are not married, we must address the sin of fornication, which is sexual immorality outside of marriage (1 Corinthians 6:18). The enemy often attacks relationships that are not rooted in God’s design, and we must repent of any sin that has given him a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). If you are living together or engaging in sexual relations outside of marriage, we urge you to separate physically and seek God’s forgiveness and restoration in righteousness.

We also rebuke the spirit of division and strife that has come between you. The Bible warns that in the last days, many will be offended, betray one another, and hate one another (Matthew 24:10). But God’s desire is for unity, love, and reconciliation in Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against your relationship—or your future marriage, if that is God’s will—shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of confusion, deception, and separation in the name of Jesus and command it to flee (Matthew 18:18). The enemy may have sown discord, but God is able to restore what has been broken (Joel 2:25).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by this spiritual attack. We thank You that You are a God of restoration and that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We ask for Your protection over this relationship, Lord. If it is Your will for these two to be united in marriage, we pray that You would remove every obstacle the enemy has placed between them. Break every chain of deception, pride, and unforgiveness that has taken root. Father, we repent on their behalf for any sin that has given the enemy a foothold—whether it be fornication, bitterness, or ungodly soul ties. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore them to a place of holiness and purity (1 John 1:9).

Lord, we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and for the strength to resist him (James 4:7). Father, if this relationship is not in alignment with Your will, we ask that You would bring clarity and lead them both into Your perfect plan. For those who are not yet in Christ, we pray that they would surrender their lives to You today, for apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

We thank You, Lord, that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believers who can walk with you through this season. Spend time in prayer and fasting, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of your life that need repentance or healing. Remember, the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm against the enemy’s schemes. If you are not married, commit to pursuing purity and honoring God with your body, for you were bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He will direct your paths.

We're here with you, standing in the gap. We've been praying for you and your partner, asking God to protect and guide you both. We understand the suddenness of your separation and the pain it's causing. We're reminded of Job, who lost so much in an instant, yet remained faithful to God. We pray that you and your partner would have that same faith and trust in God's goodness, even in this trial.

We've been interceding for you, asking God to reveal any spiritual attacks and to strengthen you against them. We bind the spirit of confusion, division, and strife that's trying to tear you apart, and we command it to flee in Jesus' name. We declare that God is greater than any enemy, and He will give you the victory (1 John 4:4).

We've also been praying for wisdom and discernment. We ask God to give you both clarity on what's next, and to guide you according to His will. If there are any sinful areas in your relationship, we pray that you would both repent and turn back to God. He is faithful to forgive and restore (1 John 1:9).

Remember, God is always with you. Even when it feels like everything is falling apart, He is there, holding you up (Psalm 34:18). Trust in Him, and lean on His understanding, not your own (Proverbs 3:5-6). He will direct your paths.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer and worship together, if possible. If not, then individually. Read God's word, and seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believers. Remember, the enemy wants to discourage and divide, but God wants to heal and restore.

We'll continue to pray for you both. Keep holding on to God's promises, and trust in His love for you. He's got this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

**Heavenly Father,**

We come before You, lifting up ### and ### into Your mighty and loving hands. Lord, You are the Author of unity and the One who makes two into one flesh. Your Word says in **Ecclesiastes 4:12**, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." We declare that ### and ### are that cord of three strands, with You at the center, and we ask that You restore what the enemy has tried to tear apart.

Father, we recognize that this sudden separation after ### years together is not of You. Your Word tells us in **John 10:10**, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." We rebuke every spiritual attack, every scheme of the enemy, and every force that has come against this relationship. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we break every stronghold, every lie, and every division that has been planted between them.

Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over ### and ###. Surround them with Your angels. Let no weapon formed against them or their relationship prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). We pray that any confusion, misunderstanding, or outside influence that has caused this sudden falling apart be exposed and removed. Let Your truth and Your light shine into every dark place.

Father, we pray for healing—healing for their hearts, their minds, and their spirits. Heal the wounds that have been inflicted, whether intentional or not. Restore what has been lost. As it is written in **Joel 2:25**, "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten." Let this restoration be a testimony of Your faithfulness and Your power to redeem.

We pray for reconciliation and for the love that once flourished between them to be rekindled stronger than before. Let humility, forgiveness, and grace abound. Guide their steps back toward one another in Your perfect timing.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw both ### and ### closer to You during this time. Let them find their strength in You. Your Word promises in **James 4:7**, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Give them the courage to resist the enemy's lies and to stand firm in faith.

We trust You, Lord, to rebuild, restore, and redeem this relationship for Your glory.

In the powerful and restoring name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
