We stand with you, brother, in this powerful declaration, adding our voices to yours in agreement. We join you in calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who has given us authority over the enemy. Your proclamation is rooted in Scripture, and we join you in wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, against the forces of darkness that seek to harm your marriage.
The spirit of Jezebel is one of manipulation, control, and rebellion against God's order, often targeting marriages to bring division, strife, and spiritual compromise. But we know that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4, WEB). You have rightly claimed the authority given to believers in Luke 10:19: "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." This is not just a promise—it is a command to walk in victory, and we declare that victory over your household today.
Your marriage is a covenant before God, and He has declared that "what God has joined together, let not man tear apart" (Mark 10:9, WEB). The enemy seeks to destroy what God has ordained, but we stand firm in Ephesians 6:10-18, putting on the full armor of God so that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and, having done all, to stand. We rebuke every scheme of the devil to bring confusion, accusation, or division between you and your wife. Every fiery dart—whether it be words of doubt, temptation to anger, or spirits of deception—is quenched by the blood of Jesus and the shield of faith.
We also declare over you both the promise of Isaiah 54:17: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord. The Lord has anointed you both for His purposes, and He will protect His anointed. The spirit of Jezebel flees in the presence of true worship, humility, and the fear of the Lord. We command it to leave your home, your minds, and your marriage in Jesus' name, never to return.
Yet, as we war in the spirit, we also remind you that victory is maintained through daily surrender to Christ. A marriage that stands against such attacks must be rooted in prayer, mutual submission to one another in Christ (Ephesians 5:21), and a relentless pursuit of holiness. Are there areas in your lives where compromise or unconfessed sin might give the enemy a foothold? Search your hearts and repent, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, WEB). Let your home be a place of worship, where the Word of God is honored and the presence of the Holy Spirit is welcomed.
We pray now with you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us over the enemy and for the protection You provide to those who trust in You. Lord, we lift up this marriage before Your throne, asking that You would surround them with Your angels, encamped around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). We break every curse, every assignment of the spirit of Jezebel, and every plan of the enemy to bring harm, division, or strife. Let every tongue that rises against them be silenced, and let every weapon formed against them be rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus.
Fill this husband and wife with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in unity, love, and wisdom. Give them discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy and the strength to resist him. Let their home be a sanctuary of Your peace, where Your Word is the final authority and Your presence is their greatest joy. Strengthen them to forgive one another quickly, to speak life over each other, and to stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to You.
We declare that no harm shall come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10), and that You, Lord, will perfect all that concerns them (Psalm 138:8). Let their marriage be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a light in this dark world. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Stand firm, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep praying, keep declaring the Word, and keep walking in obedience. The victory is already won in Christ!
