We hear your frustration and impatience, and we come before the Lord with this matter, seeking His will and intervention. First, let us remember that our times are in God’s hands, and He works all things according to His perfect timing (Psalm 31:15). While your eagerness to move forward with your project is understandable, we must also consider the importance of patience, trust, and the way we approach those who are helping us.
Father God, we lift up this situation to You. We ask that You would soften hearts and bring clarity where there has been confusion. Lord, we pray for the woman making these puppets—that You would grant her the ability, focus, and motivation to complete the work that has been requested of her. Help her to understand the importance of fulfilling her commitments in a timely manner, not out of pressure, but out of a desire to honor You with diligence and integrity (Colossians 3:23). We also ask that You would remove any obstacles or distractions that may be causing delay.
At the same time, Lord, we pray for wisdom and grace for the one making this request. Help them to communicate with kindness and patience, remembering that "a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). May they trust in Your timing rather than growing anxious or frustrated. We ask that You would open doors for this project in Your perfect way and time, whether it be through this seamstress or another avenue You provide.
We also want to gently remind that our requests must always be made with humility and consideration for others. While it is good to have goals and deadlines, we must not allow frustration to turn into bitterness or unkindness. Let us always seek to treat others as we would want to be treated (Matthew 7:12).
Father, we ask that You would guide this entire process. If it is Your will for this project to move forward, provide the resources, the right people, and the opportunities needed to bring it to fruition. If delays are part of Your plan, help us to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun (Philippians 1:6).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
