I love Genesis 1:3 And God SAID: Light Be! and light was.
God's word is LIGHT! It is a two-edged sword! Since Christ is the 'light' of the world, and He is the 'word' of God and He is 'life' it only seems right that all those things abide in us through Holy Spirit. So if you could see yourselves shooting out lightning bolts as you 'speak' the word of God at your situations or for whoever you pray for you will see that life is moving because the word is going forth. And at the sound of "his" voice, the demonic realm trembles. Remember you are speaking the word of God, so as you speak they tremble, when you stop, they rush to plant more doubts and unbelief in our thoughts. For this reason we are told to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and to think on things that are 'whatsoever is true, whatsoever is honest, whatsoever is just, whatsoever is pure, whatsoever is lovely and whatsoever is praiseworthy, if there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things. Is it any wonder that Jesus when replying to the devil in the wilderness said, "It is written".
‘Ye are not your own, for ye are bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.' We are not our own. We don't have the right to speak contrary to the word of God. God said:
Pro 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Pro 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
Pro 4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Pro 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Pro 4:24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Pro 4:25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Pro 4:26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
Pro 4:27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
"Exo 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee."
Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
Deu 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Deu 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
Deu 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Deu 6:8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
Deu 6:9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psa 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
