We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for the Word of God assures us that though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). You have declared the truth that Jesus has given you a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7), and we affirm this with you, for the Holy Spirit is your seal and guarantee of God’s promises in your life (Ephesians 1:13-14).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world, and in Him, you too are an overcomer (John 16:33, 1 John 5:4-5). The attacks you face are not a surprise to God, nor are they greater than His power within you. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and discipline. Cling to this truth, for fear is not from the Lord—it is a tool of the enemy to distract you from the peace and authority you have in Christ.
We also encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Stand firm therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, the breastplate of righteousness in place, your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit always, with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:10-18). The Word of God is your offensive weapon—speak it boldly over your mind, your emotions, and your circumstances.
If there are areas of your life where you may have given the enemy a foothold—whether through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or entertaining thoughts that do not align with God’s Word—we urge you to repent and turn fully to the Lord. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Do not allow the enemy to accuse you or make you feel condemned, for there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
Let us pray with you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under attack. Lord, You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You surround them with Your angels, encamping around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, flooding their mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of confusion, fear, anxiety, and torment in the name of Jesus. We command these spirits to flee, for they have no authority over Your child. Holy Spirit, renew their mind with the truth of Your Word, and let every thought be brought into obedience to Christ. Strengthen them to stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to You, Lord (1 Samuel 17:47).
Father, reveal to them any area where they may need to repent or surrender more fully to You. Give them the courage to walk in holiness and the grace to forgive as You have forgiven them. Let them rest in the assurance that You are their shield, their strength, and their ever-present help.
We thank You, Lord, for Your protection and Your peace. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, conforming them to the image of Your Son (Romans 8:28-29). May they walk in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
