We join with you in praying for your sister, and we appreciate your heartfelt concerns. Let us cover her in prayer, standing on the promises of God.
First, let us encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in John 16:23 WEB "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
We pray that the Lord will guide your sister in the way of righteousness, for His names sake. From Psalm 23:3 WEB "He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake." We ask that God will protect her from all evil and keep her from temptations that do not honor Him. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We pray that God will surround her with godly influences, people who fear the Lord and walk in His ways. From Proverbs 13:20 WEB "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." We ask that He will grant her wisdom to make good choices, choices that honor Him and lead to a blessed life.
We plead the blood of Jesus over her, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. As it is written in Ephesians 1:7 WEB "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace," and in 1 Peter 1:18-19 WEB "knowing that it was not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, that you were redeemed from your useless way of life inherited from your fathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish or spot, the blood of Christ."
We pray that the Lord will hold her hand, guiding her every step. From Psalm 37:23-24 WEB "A mans steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand." We ask that God will touch her heart and soul, strengthening her physically, spiritually, and mentally.
We pray that she will know she is a beloved child of God, and that He wants what is best for her. From Romans 8:16 WEB "The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;" and in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Lastly, we pray that she will live a happy, healthy life, not only for herself but also for her daughter. From 3 John 1:2 WEB "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
We encourage you both to continue walking with the Lord, keeping His commandments, and trusting in His goodness. Remember the words of Joshua 1:9 WEB "Haven't I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."
