We hear your distress and stand with you in this moment, lifting your concern to the Lord with urgency and faith. It is clear that you are seeking divine intervention, and we join you in crying out to God, who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The silence or resistance you’re facing from your landlord is not beyond the reach of the Holy Spirit, who can soften even the hardest of hearts.

First, we must address the importance of calling on the name of Jesus—not just as a phrase, but as the very foundation of our access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we have the confidence to approach God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We are grateful that you included His name in your request, for it is by His authority and power that we pray.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names. You are the God who turns hearts wherever You will, like rivers of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1). We lift up this landlord to You, Lord, and ask that You would soften their heart to receive the gospel. Remove any hardness, pride, or resistance that stands in the way of them hearing Your truth. Let Your Word take root in their spirit, and may they come to know the love, grace, and salvation that is found only in Jesus Christ.

We also pray for Your strength and empowerment to rest upon our brother/sister in this situation. Father, grant them the power of Your Holy Spirit to respond with wisdom, patience, and Christlike love, even in the face of difficulty. Let their words and actions be a testimony to Your goodness, so that this landlord may see Your light shining through them. Fill them with boldness to share the gospel when the opportunity arises, and give them peace that surpasses all understanding as they trust in You (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, discouragement, or frustration that may be attempting to take hold in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that You would open doors for communication, favor, and breakthrough in this matter. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in every outcome.

We also encourage you to examine your own heart in this situation. Are there areas where you may need to extend grace, patience, or even forgiveness? The Bible tells us that if we do not forgive others, our Father will not forgive us (Matthew 6:15). Let this be an opportunity for you to grow in Christlikeness, even as you pray for your landlord’s salvation.

Finally, remember that God is not slow in keeping His promises (2 Peter 3:9). Even when it feels like He is silent, He is working behind the scenes. Continue to seek Him, trust Him, and walk in obedience, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). We stand with you in faith, believing that God will move mightily in this situation.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
