We join with you in Jesus' name and speak life and hope over you and your household, for we hear your cry for sorrows to be gone and for joy, stability and lasting favor to remain.

The Lord sees your sorrow and He is near to the brokenhearted. We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3, and that weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning, Psalm 30:5. He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more, Revelation 21:4. Surely he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering, Isaiah 53:4, and by His wounds we are healed. We thank God that you have pleaded the blood of Jesus over your life, for in him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, Ephesians 1:7, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin, 1 John 1:7.

We also hear your declaration for life and for a hundredfold return. We love your faith, and we gently remind that it is God alone who speaks life into existence, and we come to Him as humble petitioners seeking His will. Jesus said, I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly, John 10:10. And Jesus promised that no one who has left all for His sake will fail to receive a hundred times more now in this time, and in the world to come eternal life, Mark 10:29-30. That hundredfold is first a spiritual abundance in Christ, and He also promises to restore what the locust has eaten and to supply every need according to His riches. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and The blessing of Yahweh makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it, Proverbs 10:22. We pray for an income that stays, a home that stays, and favor that stays, not by striving but by His steady hand, and that you would be a faithful steward of all He provides.

We lift up your desire for communication to be healed even better than before. We pray the Lord will set a guard over your mouth and heal every breach. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear, Ephesians 4:29.

And we lift up your prayer for a man that stays. We pray with you for a godly marriage that honors God, for we believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh, Genesis 2:24, and Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, Hebrews 13:4. If the Lord leads you to a man, we pray he will be a born again Believer who seeks to be your husband, not merely a partner or boyfriend, and that your courtship would be pure and with the goal of marriage, fleeing fornication and all sexual immorality outside of marriage. Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh, Proverbs 18:22. We pray God will set the lonely in families, Psalm 68:6, and give you a faithful covenant love that remains.

We also bring your direct offspring and your pets before the Lord. We ask for His protection and peace over your children and over the animals entrusted to your care, for a righteous man respects the life of his animal, Proverbs 12:10.

We pray together now, Father in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one and her household. Wash away every sorrow and replace it with Your joy. Speak Your life over her, her children and her home. Heal communication and let Your peace rule. Provide lasting income and a stable home by Your favor, and let Your favor rest upon her, Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us, Psalm 90:17. If it is Your will, bring a godly husband who will love her as Christ loves the church and stay in covenant faithfulness. Keep her from all that is outside Your will and help her walk in purity and wisdom. We cover all of this with the blood of Jesus and ask that Your perfect will be done. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to remain rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with Believers, trusting that God who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Philippians 1:6.

We hear how much you are longing for sorrow to lift and for good, steady things to take its place for you, your children and even your pets. Wanting happiness again, communication that is healed and stronger than before, and provision, home and favor that stays is a very human and understandable cry after a season of hurt.

We are holding these desires with you before the Lord. It makes sense you would name exactly what you hope will last, income that stays, a home that stays, relationships that stay. God knows each of those details and He knows the weariness underneath them.

One small step that sometimes helps when the heart feels full like this is to keep bringing the same few requests to Him simply each day, in your own words, and to let one trusted pastor or believing friend know you are praying for lasting stability so they can stand with you over time.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this heart and family before You, children and pets included. We ask for Your comfort where there has been sorrow, for healing in communication, and for Your steady provision and guidance for home, work and relationships. Lead toward what is good and lasting in Your will and give peace as You do. Amen.

Your petition has been heard, and there is in it a great hunger for sorrows to be taken away and for things that abide to be given in their place. That longing is not wrong in itself, for the heart was made to seek rest, but I must speak to you faithfully concerning how God gives that rest.

There are two kinds of sorrow spoken of in Scripture. The one is the sorrow of the world which works death, a fretting and pining after what we have not, or a mere regret that we have been found out. The other is a godly sorrow which works repentance to salvation not to be repented of. It is a blessed sorrow that looks not first at the loss of comfort, but at sin against a gracious God, and it leads the soul to Christ. My prayer for you is not only that outward sorrows might be lightened, but that any sorrow you have felt might be sanctified, that it might clean the windows of the soul and let you see Christ more clearly.

You ask for life and for a hundredfold, for income and a home and favor that will stay, for communication healed and for happiness for yourself and your children and even your household pets. Know this, that Christ does exempt His people from sin, but not from sorrow. He does take the curse of the cross, but He does not take the cross of the curse away from us in this life. There will be no more sorrow and sadness for you in that tearless life to come where God shall wipe all tears from our eyes, but here below we walk through a world where affliction is often the very means by which He restores our souls.

Do not think that by speaking life into existence as though your words had power in themselves you can command these things. It is God who gives, and it is to Him we must pray with humble submission to His will. He is not a servant to our declarations, but a Father who knows what we have need of before we ask Him. To trust Him is far better than to try to compel Him.

And concerning the man that stays, I must speak plainly and lovingly. The good gift of companionship is given by God within the covenant of marriage, a lifelong union of one man and one woman, where love is displayed in faithfulness and purity. Sex and living together belong only within that covenant. If your heart longs for a husband, pray that the Lord, if it be His will for you, would bring a godly man to be a husband to you in holy marriage, and that you both might walk in chastity and fidelity before Him. We cannot ask God to bless or to establish what His Word calls sin, but we can ask Him to make us holy and to provide what is truly good for our souls.

So let us pray together, not for a charm by the blood of Jesus to secure earthly things that stay, but for the blood of Jesus to wash away sin and to bring us into favor with God, which indeed does stay forever.

O Lord our God, look upon this soul and upon the children of this household. Work in them that godly sorrow for sin which leads to repentance and to faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Forgive all sin through the precious blood shed on Calvary, and restore the soul by Thy grace. Teach this heart to seek first Thy kingdom and Thy righteousness, trusting that Thou wilt add what is needful for daily bread and shelter. Where communication has been broken, grant healing through truth spoken in love, through forgiveness and forbearance. Where there is longing for a home and for provision, grant contentment with Thy provision and stability that comes from walking in Thy ways. If it be Thy will, provide a godly marriage according to Thy design, kept pure and faithful till death. Keep this one and all that concerns this house under the shadow of Thy wing, and let Thy favor, which is life, rest upon them. Make affliction to be sanctified, and bring at last to that home where sorrow and sighing shall flee away. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Your prayer for freedom from sorrow and for lasting good in your life and the lives of your children has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before God with care and truth.

Scripture does not promise that we will be exempt from sorrow in this mortal life. As one cannot sail a long sea without disquiet, so no one passes through this life without experience of sorrow. If not today, then tomorrow, and each person feels his own grief most keenly. Yet the comfort we have is greater than the trouble. God is the God of mercies and the Father of all comfort, and for the soul that is right with Him, even great sorrow is like a small spark cast into a mighty deep, quickly quenched by His consolation. Nothing is truly miserable except offending against God, and when we are reconciled to Him through the blood of Jesus Christ, we can bear afflictions with hope because we know His love remains.

I also want to gently correct the way this request is framed. We do not bring life into existence by our own words or command a hundredfold return by speaking. God alone speaks and creates, and we receive from Him as humble children asking according to His wisdom and will. Our senses are exercised and our faith is strengthened not by declarations, but by continual hearing and experience of the Scriptures, receiving a little each day until it remains in our memory and bears fruit. Let us not be careless hearers who only wonder at what is said, but those who keep what we hear and walk in it.

So I pray for you in the name of Jesus, through whose blood alone we have redemption and peace with God. I ask the Father to comfort your heart and the hearts of your children, to guard your household, including the pets He has entrusted to your care, and to give you deep and lasting joy that does not depend on circumstances alone. I pray that He will heal communication where it has been broken and make it healthier than before, with truth, patience and kindness. I pray that He will provide for your needs with income that is honest and stable, and that you will use it not to kindle wanton desires but to care for your flesh in health and to spend your greater energy on spiritual things. I pray that He will give you a stable home and enduring favor, not as fleeting dreams that vanish when we awake, but as gifts held in His steady hand.

And concerning your desire for a man who stays, I pray that if it is His will to give you marriage, He will give you a faithful covenant marriage as God designed it, one man and one woman for life, marked by faithfulness and purity, where living together and intimacy belong within that covenant. I do not ask God to bless any relationship outside that design, but to lead you into what is holy and good and to give you contentment and strength while you wait on Him.

May the Lord keep you close to Christ, who you have put on by faith, and help you to seek first the care of your soul. He knows every sorrow you have named and many you have not, and He is able to comfort you in all of them and to grant you deliverance from despair and increase in spiritual wisdom.
