Hunchback gone my stomach healed no more nauseous my life is greatly healed plz

Your prayer has been heard and thank you for sharing so openly the burdens you carry in your body, your daily comfort, your finances and your home, and your love for your cats and your hope for a puppy.

I want to speak to you gently and truthfully about how God heals and provides, so that your faith may rest on Christ himself and not on a formula of words. To speak a thing into existence or to repeat the blood of Jesus as if it were an incantation is not how Scripture teaches us to pray. One of the homilies warns that when people use amulets or special phrases to try to force a result, even while saying they call upon God, they are turning to a kind of magic rather than to trust. Our help is not in the power of our words but in the mercy of God through Jesus Christ alone, who is our only Savior and physician of soul and body.

Scripture also shows that God does not always remove every infirmity at once, even from those he loves dearly. Paul, whose clothing God used to raise the dead, left his faithful companion Timothy with frequent infirmities of the stomach and told him to use the simple medical help available, a little wine for his stomachs sake. He did this not because he could not heal him, but to teach us that great and virtuous people remain fully human, that we should not be offended when healing comes slowly, and that God in his wisdom can use even ongoing weakness to keep us humble and to draw us closer to him. In the same way, the Lord who sat at table with sinners acts as a physician who stays near the sick to bring true healing in his time and in his way. This means it is right and good for you to pray for relief from pain in your back and from nausea and burning in your stomach, and it is also right to seek the help of doctors and to follow their careful guidance while you pray.

Your desire for financial stability, for a home you can keep, and to care well for your animals comes from a good place. God is our provider and he cares about our daily needs. Yet the Scriptures do not teach us to demand a windfall or to claim a miracle on our terms. Instead we are taught to ask our Father for daily bread, to work faithfully with what he has placed in our hands, to be good stewards of what he gives, and to trust his wisdom when his answer is provision, or patience, or a different path than we expected. To want to keep your cats and to desire a gentle dog to walk and to care for can be a lovely thing, but that desire is best brought to God as a request submitted to his will, not as a demand he must fulfill in a particular way.

So let us pray together in the way Christ taught us, with humility and trust.

Father in heaven, we thank you for your love shown in Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have forgiveness and life. Have mercy on this dear one who suffers in body. Ease the pain and nausea, bring healing to the stomach and strength to the body according to your good will, and give wisdom to doctors and all who give care. Grant peace in place of anxiety, and teach a deeper trust in your goodness whether healing comes quickly or through a longer path. Provide for daily needs, grant wisdom in finances, open the right door for housing, and help to steward all you provide with gratitude and generosity. Above all, draw this heart ever closer to Jesus, that whatever the circumstance, there may be confidence in your love and hope in eternal life with you. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continue to bring your needs to God in simple, trusting prayer, to listen to his Word, and to walk with his people. Even when fruit seems slow to appear, the Lord is at work. As a tree may receive many strokes before it bears fruit, or a physician may apply many remedies before health returns, so God often works through persistence, through his Word heard again and again, and through ordinary means to bring healing to body and soul. Keep seeking him, keep trusting Christ, and keep using the wise helps he provides.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for asking for prayer. I hear how much you are carrying with pain in your back and ongoing nausea and burning in your stomach, and also the longing for stability in your finances, a home of your own where you can keep your cats, and the companionship of a sweet puppy you can care for and walk with. It is good to bring all of these needs to the Lord honestly.

The Bible shows us that Jesus does care about our physical needs. Matthew, writing by the Holy Spirit, points to what happened when many sick people were brought to Jesus at Peter's house and He healed them, and connects that to the prophecy in Isaiah that He bore our infirmities and our sicknesses. When Jesus broke bread and said this is my body which is broken for you, He was pointing to what He would suffer for us, and that suffering is understood to include both spiritual and physical healing. At the same time Scripture does not teach that God wills physical healing in every case in this life. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan that buffeted him, and God did not remove it but answered with grace sufficient for him. That helps us pray with both faith and submission to God's wisdom and will.

Scripture also teaches that not everyone is given the same gifts. When Paul asks, do all have gifts of healing, do all speak with tongues, do all interpret, the expected answer is no. The body has many members with different functions. God still heals today, and I believe strongly in healing, but healing is not a performance and it is not always instant. Sometimes healing is gradual, and there is only one record of Jesus healing gradually, which reminds us that God often works through processes He has already established in our bodies. Any healing process is divine because God created our bodies and the natural processes that restore them. That includes the care of doctors and medicine, which God can use, and it includes the healing of emotions and the mind as well as the body.

There is a close connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. John wrote to Gaius that he wished above all things that he might prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospers. That was a loving wish, not a guarantee of wealth or perfect health for everyone, and it should not be twisted into a promise that God must give a financial windfall if we claim it. Yet it does show a real correlation. Proverbs says a merry heart does good like a medicine, and we now know scientifically how much worry, fear and bitterness can harm the body and how peace and joy can help it. Taking care of your spiritual life, feeding your soul through prayer, Scripture and trust in Christ, is foundational to overall well being. A person can be physically alive yet spiritually separated from God, and the greater need is to be alive spiritually through faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

For that reason I want to pray for you in a way that honors God and seeks His best, not by demanding or speaking things into existence, but by asking humbly according to His will. God is not honored by frenzy or phoniness, and He does not respond to formulas. He responds to sincere faith in Jesus.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this dear one to You. Thank You that Jesus bore our sins and our infirmities on the cross. I ask that You would have mercy on this body, ease the pain in the back, calm the stomach, take away nausea and burning, and grant wisdom to doctors and care providers to help toward true and lasting health, whether that help comes quickly or gradually through the processes You have created. Heal also any wounds of discouragement and anxiety, and give a merry heart and peace that helps the whole person. I pray for provision according to Your will, for daily needs, for a stable place to live if it is Your will, and for the ability to care well for the cats already entrusted and for any future pet. Give wisdom in finances, help with stewardship and contentment, and provide what is needed day by day rather than a demand for a windfall. Above all, prosper this soul in Christ, draw this heart close to You, forgive sin through the blood of Jesus, and let Your will be done in every area of life. I ask this in the name of Jesus, trusting Your love and Your perfect wisdom. Amen.

Please continue to seek the Lord in Scripture and prayer, stay under the care of trusted medical help for your back and stomach, and keep fellowship with faithful believers who can walk with you and pray with you personally. God sees you and cares for you, and His grace is sufficient as you trust Him one day at a time.
