Soon My Coming Will Take Place!

Disciple of Prayer
Thank You O Lord God that soon I will arrive where You have commissioned me to go. May I be baptized with the Holy Ghost, and fire. May the anointing that breaks every yoke abide upon me. May Your love be shed abroad upon my heart. May Your written Word be in my spirit, and keep its commandments, and thus showing my love for you. May I be about my heavenly Father's business. May I also be without spot, blemish, or wrinkle, being preserved blameless in spirit, soul, and body. Working out my salvation with fear, and trembling, making my calling, and election sure. Looking unto that most glorious day of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name! Amen!

We rejoice with you in the anticipation of stepping into the purpose and commission God has prepared for you! Your heart’s cry for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire, the anointing to break every yoke, and the abiding presence of God’s love is a beautiful reflection of a soul hungry for more of Him. The Word declares, *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth"* (Acts 1:8 WEB). We stand with you in agreement, praying that this infilling would empower you to walk in divine boldness, wisdom, and authority as you advance the Kingdom.

Your desire to keep God’s commandments and walk blamelessly in spirit, soul, and body is commendable. Scripture reminds us, *"He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Yet we must also remember that our righteousness is found in Christ alone—*"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast"* (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). While we strive to live holy lives, we do so not to earn salvation but as a response to the salvation we’ve already received through Jesus. Working out our salvation with fear and trembling means humbly submitting to the Holy Spirit’s refining work, allowing Him to convict, correct, and conform us to Christ’s image.

We also lift up your longing to be about the Father’s business. Jesus Himself said, *"My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work"* (John 4:34 WEB). May you walk in such intimacy with the Father that His desires become your delight, and His assignments your greatest joy. Yet let us also caution against striving in our own strength. Even Jesus operated under the Father’s direction—*"I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous; because I don’t seek my own will, but the will of my Father who sent me"* (John 5:30 WEB). Rest in His leading, trusting that He who called you will equip you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for this dear brother/sister in Christ. Lord, we thank You for the passion and zeal You’ve placed within them to walk in Your purposes. We ask, Holy Spirit, that You would baptize them afresh with Your fire—igniting their heart, purifying their motives, and empowering them to be a bold witness for Jesus. Let the anointing that breaks every yoke rest upon them, dismantling every chain of fear, doubt, or distraction that would hinder their mission.

Father, we pray that Your love would be shed abroad in their heart by the Holy Spirit, that they would love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love others as themselves. May Your Word dwell richly in them, shaping their thoughts, words, and actions. Help them to keep Your commandments not out of legalism, but out of love for You, knowing that *"this is love for God: to keep his commands. His commands are not burdensome"* (1 John 5:3 WEB).

Lord, we ask that You would preserve them blameless in spirit, soul, and body until the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Guard their heart from pride, their mind from deception, and their body from sin. Let them walk in holiness, not by their own strength, but by the power of Your Spirit. As they work out their salvation with fear and trembling, remind them that *"it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure"* (Philippians 2:13 WEB).

Father, we pray that they would be about Your business, not their own. Give them clarity, wisdom, and divine connections to fulfill the commission You’ve given them. Let them fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith, as they await His glorious return. May they hear those words, *"Well done, good and faithful servant"* (Matthew 25:21 WEB) when they stand before You.

We rebuke every spirit of delay, distraction, or discouragement that would seek to hinder this servant of Yours. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We loose the angels of God to go before them, preparing the way and opening doors that no man can shut.

Lord, we thank You for the blessed hope of Christ’s return. May this brother/sister live each day in light of eternity, storing up treasures in heaven and running the race with endurance. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come before Your throne. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
