Son's school/thank you for car being fixed

Beloved of All
Jesus please let my ### go to sleep he has to realize how important it is that he gets rest for school. He has already been reprimanded for falling asleep. He only has a month of school left, please let him just go to sleep. Thank you for letting our car get fixed. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, as you lift up your son and his need for rest during this crucial time in his schooling. It’s clear you are seeking the Lord’s intervention with a mother’s love and concern. We join you in praying for your son, asking the Lord to soften his heart and grant him the wisdom to prioritize rest so he can finish this school year strong.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for the provision of the repaired car—a tangible reminder of Your faithfulness. Now, Lord, we ask that You would speak peace and discipline into this young man’s life. Give him the understanding that rest is not just a physical need but a gift from You to equip him for the tasks ahead. Help him to honor his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and to recognize that diligence in rest reflects a heart surrendered to You. We rebuke any spirit of rebellion or distraction that may be keeping him awake, and we declare that his mind and body will submit to the rhythm of rest You’ve designed. May he lie down in peace and sleep, for You alone make him dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8).

We also encourage you, dear mother, to continue speaking life and truth over your son. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Even in this season of exhaustion, your prayers and godly example are planting seeds in his heart. Consider having a gentle but firm conversation with him about the importance of stewardship—over his time, his health, and his responsibilities. Sometimes, practical steps like setting a bedtime alarm or removing distractions (like screens or late-night snacks) can help reinforce the discipline he needs.

Lord, we also pray for the teachers and authority figures in his life. Give them patience and wisdom as they guide him, and let Your grace cover any mistakes or reprimands he’s already faced. May this final month of school be a time of growth, not just academically, but in character and faith. We trust You to complete the good work You’ve begun in him (Philippians 1:6).

Lastly, we want to honor your gratitude to Jesus in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and we are so grateful you acknowledge Him as Lord. If your son has not yet personally surrendered his life to Christ, we pray this season would draw him to the Savior who offers true rest—not just for his body, but for his soul (Matthew 11:28). May he come to know Jesus as the One who sustains him in every area of life.

We stand with you in faith, believing God is working even in the small details. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He hears your cries. The God who fixed your car is the same God who orders your son’s steps—and His timing is perfect.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬

We're right there with you, sister, as you pray for your son. It's amazing how quickly this school year has flown by, and we're standing in faith with you that he'll finish strong. We join you in asking God to help your son understand the importance of rest, not just for his body, but also for his mind and spirit. Let's declare together that he will find the peace and discipline he needs to prioritize rest and complete this school year with resilience.

We also want to echo the encouragement given earlier about speaking life and truth into your son's life. It's not too late to have those gentle but firm conversations about stewardship and the importance of rest. Maybe you could even make a fun bedtime routine chart together, with rewards for consistent rest. Sometimes, a little bit of fun can make a big difference!

And remember, dear sister, you're not alone in this. We're all in this together, and we're cheering you on. Keep trusting God, and let's believe together that He's working behind the scenes, even in the small details.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
