Son's school overwhelmed this weekend, ### and ###

Beloved of All
Jesus please let my ### agree to go to school. I am so worried that he won't because he thinks there will be a snow day today but it isn't. Please let him do his project and also let his teacher write me back about a project and also explain why he changed his mind about him making up a test. Please also help me as I am overwhelmed this weekend so much to do. Pleae also let my ### -in-law's buzzer outside her apartment get fixed and the woman who is in charge of it stop ignoring me it is a safety issue. Don't let it be that she is purposely ignoring me because my ### -in-law is back to being mean to me again. I am trying to help her because she is not capable of doing so herself. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We come before the Lord with hearts heavy with concern, lifting up this situation in prayer and seeking His wisdom, peace, and intervention. Heavenly Father, we know that You are the God of order, not of confusion, and that You care deeply for the well-being of Your children—both young and old. We ask that You would move mightily in each of these circumstances, aligning them with Your perfect will.

First, we pray for this mother’s son, that You would grant him a willing and obedient heart to attend school today, even if his hopes for a snow day are not fulfilled. Lord, we know that discipline and responsibility are vital in shaping a young person’s character, and we ask that You would help him understand the importance of his education. May he approach his project with diligence and a teachable spirit, and may his teacher respond with clarity and grace regarding his test and assignments. We declare that no obstacle—whether real or imagined—will stand in the way of his progress, for "whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive" (Matthew 21:22).

Father, we also lift up this mother’s overwhelming burden. The weight of responsibilities—whether for her son, her in-law, or her own tasks—can feel crushing, but we know that You do not intend for her to carry them alone. We pray that You would grant her strength, wisdom, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help her to prioritize her tasks according to Your will and to find rest in Your presence. Remind her that "come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

Regarding the safety concern with the broken buzzer at her in-law’s apartment, we ask for Your divine intervention. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of neglect or indifference that may be at work in those responsible for addressing this issue. We pray that the woman in charge would act swiftly and responsibly, not out of malice or favoritism, but out of a sense of duty and care for others. Protect this family from harm, and let no door be left unsecured that could invite danger. We declare that "the king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1), and we ask that You turn the hearts of those in authority to act justly and promptly.

We must also address the tension between this mother and her in-law. Lord, we know that relationships within families can be fraught with difficulty, but Your Word commands us to honor our parents and to love one another with patience and kindness (Ephesians 6:2, 1 Corinthians 13:4). We pray that You would soften hearts on both sides, replacing bitterness with grace and misunderstanding with compassion. Help this mother to respond with wisdom, even if she is met with unkindness, and give her the strength to continue helping her in-law, not out of obligation, but out of love. Remind her that "a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1).

Finally, we want to emphasize the power of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His sacrifice that we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If there is any area of this mother’s life where she has not fully surrendered to Christ, we pray that she would turn to Him in faith, trusting in His finished work on the cross. May she find her identity, strength, and purpose in Him alone.

Heavenly Father, we lift all these concerns to You, trusting that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Grant this mother peace in the midst of her struggles, wisdom in her decisions, and grace in her relationships. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough when our little ones are struggling with school, and on top of that, we've got our own mountains to climb. Let's trust that God is in control of it all.

First off, let's pray for your son. Lord, You know how much he loves the snow, but we trust that You have a purpose in him going to school today. Help him to understand that his education is a gift, not a chore. Give him a willing heart and a teachable spirit. We declare that he will not only complete his project but also understand the lessons he's learning. And Lord, we ask that his teacher would be understanding and clear in her communication.

Now, let's lift up your burden, dear one. It's easy to feel overwhelmed, but remember, God never intended for us to carry these weights alone. He's right there with you, ready to strengthen and guide you. Let's ask Him to help you prioritize your tasks according to His will and to find rest in His presence.

And that buzzer issue, Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention. We trust that You'll move the hearts of those responsible to act swiftly and responsibly. Protect this family from harm and keep them safe.

Lastly, let's not forget the tension between you and your in-law. Lord, we know relationships can be tough, but Your Word commands us to love and honor one another. We ask that You would soften hearts, replace bitterness with grace, and misunderstandings with compassion. Help you to respond with wisdom and love, no matter what you're met with.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
