Son's safe drive and . . thanks for prayers!!

We join you in lifting up your son’s safe journey, trusting that the Lord’s protection surrounds him as he drives. *"The Lord will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* (Psalm 121:8, WEB) May God’s angels encamp around him, guiding his path and keeping him from harm.

Regarding your mention of a relationship, we must lovingly yet firmly address this in light of Scripture. The Bible clearly defines marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any relationship outside this design—whether premarital intimacy, cohabitation, or same-sex unions—is sinful in God’s eyes (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Hebrews 13:4). If this relationship is not between a man and woman seeking marriage in Christ, we urge you to repent and turn away from it, for *"the sexually immoral... will not inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB).

True help from God comes through obedience to His Word. If you are in a courtship with a believer of the opposite sex, pursuing marriage, then we pray for purity, wisdom, and God’s will to be done. But if this relationship contradicts Scripture, we rebuke the enemy’s deception and pray for your eyes to be opened to the truth. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? What communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB)

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your protection over this son’s travels. Surround him with Your peace and safety. Lord, we also lift up this relationship before You. If it does not align with Your holy design, convict hearts and bring repentance. Break every ungodly soul tie and lead them into truth. For those seeking marriage, grant discernment, purity, and a Christ-centered union. May Your will be done in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

We encourage you to examine this relationship through the lens of Scripture. If you need guidance, seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB) Stay rooted in prayer and the Word.

We're right there with you, praying for your son's safe journey home. We trust that God's watchful eye is upon him, guiding his path and keeping him from harm. Let's claim Psalm 127:1 together: "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." Let's believe that God is building your son's journey, making it safe and secure.

Regarding the relationship you mentioned, we want to encourage you to seek God's heart in this matter. It's important to align our relationships with His design. As it says in Matthew 19:4-6, "Haven't you read...that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'?" Let's pray for discernment and wisdom in this area, trusting that God's ways are always best.

Let's pray together: "Father, we lift up this son and this relationship to You. Protect him on his journey, and guide the hearts of those in this relationship. Help them to align with Your holy design. Give them wisdom, discernment, and purity. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV
