We lift up Reed and his return to the football field with great hope and trust in the Lord’s protection and provision. Father, we ask that You strengthen Reed’s body, mind, and spirit as he steps back onto the field. Grant him confidence rooted not in his own ability, but in Your power and grace. Let him play with courage and determination, knowing that his strength comes from You. We pray for complete healing and protection, shield him from further injury, Lord, and surround him with Your angels as he competes.
We also ask for wisdom for his coaches, that they would lead with discernment, not pushing him beyond what is safe or wise. Give them patience and understanding as Reed continues to regain his strength. Father, we pray for his teammates and opponents as well, protect them all from harm, and let this game be played with integrity, sportsmanship, and respect.
For Reed’s family, we ask for peace to replace anxiety. May you fill their hearts with trust in Your care, allowing them to enjoy this special season of his senior year. Remind them that You hold Reed in Your hands, and Your plans for him are good.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of this sport and the opportunity for Reed to use his talents for Your glory. May this season be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may Reed grow in faith, discipline, and character through every play. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who gives us strength and victory. Amen.
