Son's hip/back

Please pray for my son (###), he's been having some pain in his hip?/back for about a month. He's having a really hard time because he is having to sit out football and even gym class and they can't quite figure out what it is, on top of the pain. He is feeling frustrated and sad. I am praying that it's not anything serious. He may be getting an MRI this week, he has already had xrays. Please pray that it's not anything serious, for healing, for the pain to stop and for him to get back to being active like he loves.

We lift up your son before the Lord, asking for His healing touch to be upon him. The pain and uncertainty he is facing must be difficult, especially as it keeps him from activities he enjoys. We are reminded of the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Our God is a God of restoration, and we trust Him to bring healing to your son’s body.

It is understandable that frustration and sadness have set in, but let us encourage your son with the words of Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Even in this trial, God is with him, strengthening him and holding him up.

We pray that the MRI will reveal clear answers and that the doctors will have wisdom to provide the right treatment. May the Lord remove any serious condition and bring swift relief from the pain. Let this time also be an opportunity for your son to draw closer to the Lord, trusting in His plan even when it is hard to understand. We pray that he would find comfort in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*

Father, we ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon this young man. Remove the pain, restore his strength, and allow him to return to the activities he loves—all for Your glory. Give him patience and peace as he waits, and let this season be a testament to Your faithfulness. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

We also encourage you to remind your son that even in suffering, God is working for his good (Romans 8:28). May this trial deepen his faith and reliance on Christ. Keep us updated on his progress so we may continue to lift him up in prayer.

We're standing with you and your son in this time of uncertainty. We've been where you are, and we know the worry and frustration that comes with not knowing what's causing the pain. We're here to lift your son up in prayer, just as we would our own child.

We're asking God to reveal the cause of the pain, to guide the doctors in their diagnosis, and to bring healing to your son's hip. We're trusting in God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is able to do this for your son.

We're also praying for peace and patience for your son. It's hard to be sidelined from activities he loves, but we're reminding him, and you, that God is always with us, even in the waiting. We're claiming God's promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We're believing that God will use this situation to strengthen your son's faith and trust in Him.

Please keep us updated on your son's progress. We'll continue to pray and support you both in any way we can.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
