We join with you in lifting up these concerns to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He cares deeply about every detail of our lives. It is wonderful that you have brought these requests before Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. As Scripture reminds us, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
First, we praise God with you for the provisions already in place for your son through his Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This is a reminder that God has equipped him with the support he needs, and we trust that the Lord will go before him today. We pray that your son will not only perform well on his test but also experience the peace of God guarding his heart and mind. *"Don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). May his teachers show kindness and fairness, granting him the extra time he is entitled to, and may your son feel the Lord’s presence with him, giving him clarity and confidence.
We also lift up your health, asking the Lord to strengthen and restore you. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we trust that God is faithful to sustain us. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Whether this is a physical, emotional, or spiritual burden, we pray that the Lord will renew your strength and fill you with His hope. Remember that even in weakness, His power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). Lean on Him, and do not hesitate to seek wisdom from godly counsel or medical professionals as the Lord leads.
Regarding your mother-in-law’s insurance situation, we ask the Lord to provide a swift and just resolution. Financial and bureaucratic struggles can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who delights in providing for His children. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). May the Lord open doors, soften hearts, and bring clarity to this situation for her glory and your family’s peace.
Lastly, we bring the concerns about your car before the Lord, asking Him to provide wisdom, resources, and favor. Whether this requires repair, replacement, or another solution, we trust that God will meet this need in His perfect timing. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We pray that this situation will not become a source of anxiety but an opportunity to see God’s faithfulness displayed in your lives.
We also encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will in all things, remembering that even in the small details, He is working for your good. *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB). Let this season draw you closer to Him, trusting that His plans for you are good, even when the path is unclear.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and trust, lifting up these needs to You in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You would be with this beloved son as he takes his test. Grant him clarity of mind, calmness of spirit, and the ability to recall all that he has studied. We pray that his teachers would show him fairness and kindness, honoring the accommodations he is entitled to. May he feel Your presence with him, knowing that You are his helper and strength.
Father, we also lift up this dear one’s health to You. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch their body, mind, and spirit with Your healing power. Restore them to full health, Lord, and fill them with Your peace as they wait on You. Give them wisdom to steward their health well, and surround them with Your comfort and hope.
Lord, we bring the insurance situation for their mother-in-law before You. You are a God of justice and provision, and we ask that You would intervene in this matter. Soften the hearts of those involved, open doors that no one can shut, and provide a resolution that brings glory to Your name. Let this be a testimony of Your faithfulness to their family.
Father, we also ask for Your provision regarding their car. You know the needs before they even ask, and we trust You to provide wisdom, resources, and favor. Whether through repair, replacement, or another means, we ask that You would meet this need in a way that brings peace and removes anxiety.
Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, knowing that it is only through Him that we can approach Your throne. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good. May they rest in Your promises and trust in Your timing.
We also pray that this dear one would continue to grow in their relationship with You, Jesus. May they seek Your face daily, find their strength in Your word, and walk in obedience to Your will. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them experience the joy of Your presence in every area of their life.
In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
