Disciple of Prayer
My son is intellectually gifted. In Sept, we moved him from his public high school and put him in a private school for children with the same "giftedness". It is a challenging environment and one that instills a lot of work and demands high standards. For almost a year, he has been toiling and achieving high marks. However, he is not happy. He feels all he does is Homework, school and sleep. I feel lost on what to do. The school is expensive and we toil tirelessly to send him here. I ask for your prayer so that I may be guided by God's Grace to show me what to do. I want him to be happy, to be fulfilled to want to go to school. And on the other hand, I do not want to shirk my responsibility of a good parent guiding him to his full potential. I do not know if I am pushing him too hard....
