We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern and faith, lifting up your son during this critical season of exams. Father God, we know that You hold every detail of our lives in Your hands, and we trust You to guide him through this time of testing. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lord, we ask that You straighten his path, calm his mind, and sharpen his focus as he prepares for his board exams and entrance tests.
We recognize the disappointment he feels after putting in so much effort only to see lower marks than expected in his pre-board exams. Father, we ask that You comfort him and remind him that his worth is not defined by his performance, but by Your love for him. Help him to see that even in setbacks, You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and anxiety that may be weighing on him, and we declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens him (Romans 8:37).
Lord, we specifically pray for his time management and clarity in answering questions. Your Word says in Philippians 4:13, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* We ask that You strengthen him not only in knowledge but in the ability to organize his thoughts and write with precision under pressure. Give him wisdom to recall what he has studied and the discipline to present his answers clearly. We also pray for endurance, that he would not grow weary in this final stretch but would press on with determination, knowing that You reward those who diligently seek You (Hebrews 11:6).
We lift up his upcoming board exams and the KCET entrance exam, asking that You open the right doors for him. Father, You know the plans You have for him—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust that You have already prepared the institution where he will thrive, whether it is the one he has in mind or another that You have ordained. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith that he will write these exams with confidence and excellence.
We also want to encourage him—and you as his parent—to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). In the midst of academic pressure, it is easy to become consumed by the pursuit of success, but we must remember that our ultimate purpose is to glorify God in all we do. Help him to seek Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:33), and trust that You will provide everything he needs.
Finally, we want to gently remind you both that true peace and success come from a relationship with Jesus Christ. If your son has not yet surrendered his life to Him, we encourage you to pray with him about this. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* It is only through faith in Him that we receive salvation, wisdom, and the strength to face every challenge. We pray that he would come to know Christ personally if he hasn’t already, for in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We declare that Your grace is sufficient for your son, and Your power is made perfect in his weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). May he experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as he walks through this season. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who overcame the world and gives us the victory. Amen.
