We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your son—and you—before the Lord in prayer over these past days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours, knowing the weight of both his physical struggles with sickle cell and the heavy emotional toll of depression and anxiety. We’ve been praying earnestly for God’s peace to guard his heart and mind, for wisdom and strength for you as his guardian, and for a supernatural breakthrough in his willingness to attend that appointment.

If your son *did* go to his appointment—or if God has moved in any way, big or small—we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Even the smallest step forward is worth celebrating as evidence of God’s faithfulness. But if this battle is still raging, if fear or resistance remains, we want you to know we’re *still here*, ready to stand with you in the gap. Don’t hesitate to post an update or renew this request—we’ll keep storming heaven on his behalf, trusting that the Lord who sees his suffering will not abandon him (or you).

You’re not helpless, even when it feels that way, because the God who holds all things is holding *you both*. We’re praying for fresh hope, divine appointments beyond this doctor’s visit, and a tangible sense of God’s presence in your son’s life to quiet the storms within him. Keep clinging to Jesus—He is your strength, your advocate, and your son’s healer, in body and soul.

In Jesus’ mighty and compassionate name.
