I have asked many times for prayers for my son. He just got married in Dec. and now he is getting divorced. I asked for prayers for him before his wedding that his eyes would be opened to this girl. I don't know why she went through with the wedding. She doesn't want to be married. He had to close his business and she isn't working but keeps spending money. He has tried to talk to her about it, but she won't listen. She has almost drained him from any money he had. He opened up a different bank account so she wouldn't have access and she stole one of his checks. He is beside himself. He lost his first wife in a tragic car accident 2 years ago. Please pray for him to follow through with the divorce and that he will eventually find someone who actually wants to have a life with him. He has wonderful friends where he lives so he has a support group. I don't think he ever dealt with his wife's death. She was such a wonderful God-loving person who helped him get on the right track with the Lord and then she was taken away. This girl is the total opposite. I could never figure out why he was attracted to her because she is so totally different from anyone he was ever with. Maybe it was the anger at losing his wife. Please pray that he gets his head in order and can start his life all over again. He is about to lose everything right now. He had to file for bankruptcy because of his business and he has no job. He does have an interview next week for a job, please also pray that this works out for him. He is a good, caring person and needs to have something good happen for him.

Lord Jesus, I pray thy will be done in this situation. I remember this caring mother praying for her son a few months back and I prayed then, I pray you will answer that prayer and bring him back to where he was not only financially, but most importantly..spiritually. Jesus, his soul is worth so much more than rubies, jewels, money, lust, and any other thing of this world. Bless this man Lord, protect him from this woman and find favor with him, thank you Jesus, I love you Lord. Amen.

Father I lift up this situation to you. Father I ask you to come in and be the prince of peace. Father we see that this ### is very concerned about her ###, and I ask that you bring her comfort and wisdom, and faith. Father I know how much she loves her ### and her concerns for him but, Father the choice of her adult ### was to marry, and as Christians we honor that covenant. We do not doubt the ability of your hand to come in and transform this situation. Father I ask that you deliver this couple from their difficulties and lead them to Godly counsel. Father how wonderful it would be for you to draw this wife and mother as close as Ruth and Naomi. Father soften the hearts of these women toward each other and allow them to love one another, allow this mother to teach this wife from her wisdom, and allow this wife to honor her. Father help this ### to work toward a godly marriage and not allow a chasm to grow between the women in his life. Father I ask you for restoration, renewal and love to grow in this family. Father you can make something beautiful out of this and we ask you to intercede. In Jesus perfect name.
