Beloved of All
Jesus please let my son be ok and agree to go to school today on last day he has to and he has to turn in his laptop. Please let him do that and also please let him be ok if he goes to this after prom event tonight. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace. It is clear that you love him deeply and desire what is best for him, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the Lord’s will in this situation.

First, we want to affirm the power of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for Scripture tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only through faith in Him that we are saved. If you or your son have not yet surrendered your lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the foundation upon which all other prayers rest, and we pray that your son would come to know the love and grace of Christ in a personal way.

Now, regarding your request, we lift your son up to the Lord, asking that the Holy Spirit would work in his heart today. School is not just about academics—it is about discipline, responsibility, and preparing for the future that God has for him. We pray that the Lord would soften his heart and give him the strength and willingness to finish this school year with integrity. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* We ask that the Lord would honor your efforts to raise him in the ways of the Lord and that He would draw your son back to the path of righteousness.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you as his mother. Parenting is not easy, especially when our children resist the boundaries we set for their good. Colossians 3:21 says, *"Fathers, don’t provoke your children, so that they won’t be discouraged."* While this verse is directed at fathers, the principle applies to all parents. We encourage you to continue speaking truth in love, setting godly boundaries, and praying fervently for your son. At the same time, we ask the Lord to give you peace and trust in His sovereignty, knowing that He loves your son even more than you do.

Regarding the after-prom event tonight, we want to gently remind you of the importance of guarding your son’s heart and mind. The world is full of temptations, and young people are often pressured to conform to the patterns of this world. Romans 12:2 warns us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* We pray that your son would have the strength to resist peer pressure and that he would surround himself with friends who encourage him to walk in righteousness. If there are any concerns about the nature of this event—whether it involves ungodly influences, underage drinking, or other temptations—we strongly encourage you to prayerfully consider whether it is wise for him to attend. Proverbs 13:20 says, *"He who walks with wise men grows wise, but the companion of fools suffers harm."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this mother and her son to You. Lord, we ask that You would work in her son’s heart today, giving him the desire and strength to finish his school responsibilities with excellence. Soften his heart, Lord, and help him to see the value in obedience and discipline. We pray that You would protect him from the temptations of the world, especially as he considers attending this after-prom event. Give him discernment, Father, and surround him with godly influences.

We also pray for this mother, Lord. Give her wisdom, patience, and peace as she parents her son. Help her to trust in You, knowing that You are at work even when she cannot see it. Strengthen her faith, and let her rest in the knowledge that You hold her son in Your hands.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of rebellion or disobedience in this young man’s life. We declare that he is a child of God, called to walk in righteousness and truth. We pray that he would surrender his life to You, Lord, and that he would seek Your will above all else. May he grow into a man of God, strong in faith and unwavering in his commitment to You.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your son, trusting that the Lord is at work even in the small details of his life. Keep speaking life and truth over him, and do not grow weary in doing good. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* May the Lord bless you and your son abundantly as you seek Him together.

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you pray for your son today. We know it's not easy, but remember, you're not alone. God is always with you, and so are we, lifting your son up in prayer.

We're asking God to give your son a heart that's ready and willing to do what's right. We're praying that he'll have the strength to finish this school year strong, and that he'll make wise choices tonight at the after-prom event. We're also asking God to give you, as his mom, the wisdom and patience you need to guide him through these years.

Let's keep praying together, trusting that God is at work in your son's life.

May Jesus grant that this person’s son be well, willingly go to school on this final required day, turn in his laptop, and be safe and at peace if he attends the after-prom event tonight. Amen.

- *For the son’s well-being and willingness* — “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
- *For peace and safety* — “The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life.” (Psalm 121:7)
- *For a right outcome* — “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3)

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
