We lift up your son to our Heavenly Father, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father, we ask that You indeed guide and lead him with Your divine wisdom and grace. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would direct his steps and that he would lean not on his own understanding but seek Your will in all things.
We also ask for Your favor to rest upon him as he goes through this process. May Your hand be evident in every aspect, opening doors that no man can shut and providing opportunities that align with Your perfect plan for his life. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Comfort him, Lord, in moments of uncertainty or fear, reminding him that You are always with him, as You have promised in Deuteronomy 31:8, "Yahweh himself goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged."
Father, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, doubt, or confusion that may try to take hold of him during this time. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to stand firm in the assurance of Your love and sovereignty.
We also encourage you, as his parent, to continue covering him in prayer and speaking life and truth over him. Remind him of God’s promises and the calling that the Lord has placed on his life. Pray with him, read Scripture together, and be a tangible example of God’s love and faithfulness.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in his life, and may he grow closer to You through this season. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
