We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in earnest intercession. Father God, we ask that You indeed guide and lead him with Your holy wisdom, for "the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding" (Proverbs 2:6). Grant him discernment in every decision, clarity in every step, and favor in the eyes of those who hold authority over this process.
We pray Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May Your comfort surround him like a shield, reminding him that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). When anxiety or fear arises, let him recall that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we also ask that You would draw this young man closer to You during this season. Strengthen his faith, deepen his trust in Your sovereignty, and let him experience Your presence in tangible ways. May he seek You first in all things, knowing that when he does, all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33).
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in his heart. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your light shine brightly in his life, dispelling any darkness.
Father, we also pray for protection over his mind, body, and spirit. Guard him from temptation, distraction, or any influence that would lead him away from Your will. Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and counsel who will speak truth into his life and encourage him in his walk with You.
Above all, we pray that this season would not only shape his circumstances but also mold his character to reflect Christ more fully. May he grow in humility, patience, and reliance on You. Let this be a time where he learns to wait on You, trusting that Your plans for him are good, to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and stand on Your promises, knowing that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
