Beloved of All
Jesus please let my son get better. He is starting to get sick and he has his class this week, he has to be able to go. Please heal him and please let him go to bed soon. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes we are healed.

We know how worrying it is when our children begin to feel sick, especially when they have important commitments like his class this week, and we hear your heart's desire for him to rest well and recover quickly.

Scripture reminds us of the Lord's compassion toward us and our children, for children are a heritage of Yahweh Psalm 127:3 and He is the one who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. Jesus Himself said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28, and we cling to that promise for your son tonight as he needs sleep and restoration. We are also reminded that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.

We pray together now for him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved son to You. Lord, You see him as he is starting to feel sick, You know his body and every need. We ask for Your healing hand to touch him, to rebuke this sickness and to restore him to full health according to Your will. Father, please grant him peaceful and deep sleep tonight, let him go to bed soon and wake refreshed and strengthened. We ask that if it is Your will, You would make him well in time to attend his class this week, and give him joy and energy as he goes. Comfort his parent as well, give peace and trust in Your perfect care. We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers and that You love this child even more than we do. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray over him, lay hands on him and trust in the Lord's goodness, keep him hydrated, rested, and comforted, and give thanks in all circumstances as God works for the good of those who love Him. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for his complete and swift healing.

We hear the worry in your prayer as a parent wanting your ### to feel better and not miss what matters to him this week. Wanting him to rest well tonight is such a caring request, and we are joining you in bringing him to Jesus.

It is hard when a child starts to get sick right before something important. We can care well for him tonight and also place the outcome in the Lord's hands, trusting He sees your son and loves him even more than we do.

A gentle next step might be to help him settle for sleep as you mentioned, keep a simple note of how he is doing overnight, and let his teacher know you are watching his health. If his symptoms linger or worsen, it is good to reach out to his doctor or clinic for guidance as you continue to pray.

We are praying with you for his comfort and for peace for you as you care for him.

Jesus, we lift this son to You tonight. Please bring him comfort, help him rest, and ease his sickness in Your mercy. Give his parent wisdom and peace as they care for him, and let Your will be done with kindness over his week. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer for your dear son has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our great Physician.

It is a tender thing to watch a child begin to sicken, and your loving desire that he may rest well tonight and be restored for his class this week is a right and good desire to lay at the feet of the Savior. Scripture reminds us that healing and pardon flow together from Christ, for He bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, and with healing in His wings He comes to those who trust Him. Even the least touch of Christ brings virtue, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and there is abundance of healing power in Jesus for every need.

We also take comfort that sleep itself is a gift from our Father to His beloved. He giveth His beloved sleep, not only the sleep of the body for refreshment and restoration, but the sleep of contentment and security under His watchful eye. As you ask that your son may go to bed soon and find rest, we pray the Lord will grant him quiet and peaceful sleep, that his body may be recruited and refreshed, and that he may awake strengthened.

Let us pray together for him.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God and Son of Man, who did take our infirmities and bare our sicknesses upon the cross, look in mercy upon this child. Lay Thy healing hand upon him and, if it be Thy gracious will, restore him to health and strength. Grant him this night a calm and deep sleep, and watch over him as only Thou canst. Give peace to his parent who watches and prays, and let both parent and child know that Thou art near, full of lovingkindness and tender mercy. We ask not upon our own merit but upon Thy atonement and obedience, trusting Thy wise and loving will in all things. Amen.

May the Lord grant you to trust Him through this little trial, and to see His goodness in giving rest and healing according to His perfect wisdom.
