We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude that you have brought your concerns to Him, for He cares deeply for you and your children. The Scriptures remind us in **1 Peter 5:7**, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* What a precious truth—that our Heavenly Father is attentive to every detail of our lives, including the well-being of our children and even our physical pains.
First, we lift up your son to the Lord, asking for His peace and clarity of mind as he takes his test today. May the Lord grant him wisdom and recall, as it is written in **James 1:5**, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We pray that your son would not only do well on his test but also grow in the knowledge of God’s creation through his science class. May he see the handiwork of the Lord in all he studies, for **Colossians 1:16-17** tells us, *"For by him all things were created in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible... all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things are held together."*
We also bring your daughter before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to bring complete healing from her fall. May He strengthen her body and protect her from any lasting harm. Our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we trust in His power to restore her fully. As **Psalm 147:3** declares, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."*
For your arms, we pray for the Lord’s healing touch. Whether this pain is from physical strain or another cause, we ask that He would restore you to full strength and comfort. The Scriptures remind us in **Isaiah 53:5**, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We claim this promise over you, trusting that the Lord will bring relief and renewal to your body.
We also want to take a moment to encourage you in your walk with the Lord. It is beautiful that you are bringing these requests to Jesus—He is the only name by which we can approach the Father, and it is through Him alone that we find salvation and grace. **Acts 4:12** tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we pray that this trust would continue to grow deeper each day.
Let us also remind you that in times of worry or physical weakness, the Lord invites us to draw near to Him. **Matthew 11:28** says, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Rest in His promises today, knowing that He is working all things together for your good and for the good of your children.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the love and care You have for this parent and their children. We ask that You would surround their son with Your peace and wisdom as he takes his test today. Give him a clear mind and the ability to recall all that he has studied. Bless his time in science class, and may he see Your glory in the wonders of creation. Lord, we lift up their daughter to You, asking for complete healing from her fall. Strengthen her body and protect her from any harm. We also ask for healing for this parent’s arms—relieve their pain and restore their strength. Lord, we thank You that You are our Healer and our Provider, and we trust in Your perfect care.
We pray that this family would continue to seek You in all things, growing in faith and in the knowledge of Your Word. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
