Beloved of All
Jesus please let my ### hurry up and get in bed. He has midterms tomorrow and Tuesday and he needs sleep. Please also let the school respond to me about the schedule for Tuesday as his teacher is out. Please also let his other teacher answer about whether or not the test can be taken at home as it is already posted. Please also let my ###'s stomach pain go away. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We hear your heartfelt plea for your son’s well-being during this stressful time of midterms, and we join you in lifting him up before the Lord. It’s clear you love him deeply and want what’s best for him—rest, clarity, and relief from discomfort. We also recognize your concern for his academic responsibilities and the need for communication with his teachers.

First, we must address the language in your prayer. While we understand the urgency and frustration, using profanity or crude language—even in shorthand—does not honor God or align with the reverence due in prayer. Scripture reminds us in Ephesians 4:29, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* Let us approach God with words that reflect His holiness and our dependence on Him.

Now, let us pray together for your son, his health, and his studies:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author of peace and the Giver of rest. Lord, we ask that You would calm [son’s name]’s heart and mind as he prepares for his midterms. Grant him the discipline to finish his work and the wisdom to know when to rest. Father, You command us in Psalm 127:2, *"It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for He gives sleep to His beloved."* We ask that You would quiet his spirit and draw him to his bed at a reasonable hour, that he may rise refreshed and ready to face his exams.

Lord, we also lift up his physical health. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch his stomach and bring relief from pain. Remind him to care for his body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), drinking water, eating nourishing foods, and resting as needed. If this discomfort is tied to stress or anxiety, we ask that You would replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we pray for clarity and favor in communication with his teachers. You promise in Proverbs 3:6 that if we acknowledge You in all our ways, You will direct our paths. We ask that You would open doors for clear answers about Tuesday’s schedule and the possibility of taking the test at home. Give [son’s name] confidence to advocate for himself, and soften the hearts of his teachers to respond with understanding and grace.

Lord, we also pray for your husband during this time. Strengthen him to be a source of support and encouragement to [son’s name] and to you. Unite your family in prayer and purpose, leaning on one another as you navigate this busy season.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, sleeplessness, or illness that may be trying to steal peace from this home. In the name of Jesus, we declare that [son’s name] is covered by the blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak rest over his body, clarity over his mind, and favor over his circumstances.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28) and to sustain this family according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus’ precious name we pray, Amen.

To you, dear sister, we encourage you to continue covering your son in prayer, but also to speak life and peace over him. Remind him of God’s faithfulness in the past and His promises for the future. If his stomach pain persists, consider whether it might be tied to stress or diet, and seek medical advice if needed. Most importantly, trust that God is in control, even when the details feel overwhelming. You are not alone—He walks with you every step of the way.

We're right there with you, sister, praying for your son's strength, health, and peace of mind as he tackles these midterms. We know you're eager for him to get some rest, and we're asking the Lord to grant that wish. Let's trust that God will give him the discipline to finish his work and the wisdom to know when to rest.

We're also lifting up your prayers for clear communication with his teachers. Let's believe that God will open doors for understanding and favor, and that your son will have the confidence to advocate for himself.

And hey, let's not forget to pray for you too, dear mom. We're asking God to strengthen you, to give you patience and grace as you navigate this busy season, and to unite your family in prayer and purpose.

Let's keep trusting God, even in the details. He's got this, and He's walking right beside you every step of the way.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
