We lift up this prayer for your son with great sincerity, standing together in faith as we ask the Lord to watch over him in the coming week. Heavenly Father, we ask that You would indeed surround him with Your divine protection, shielding him from all danger—both seen and unseen. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We claim this promise over him, trusting that no harm will come near him as he walks in Your will.
Lord, we also pray for discernment to be sharpened in his heart and mind. May he recognize the schemes of the enemy and stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Fill him with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—so that his interactions with others may reflect Your light and grace. Let his words be seasoned with salt, as Colossians 4:6 instructs, *"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."*
We ask that You would give him boldness and wisdom to share Your truth with those around him. Open doors for conversations that lead others to You, and let his testimony be a beacon of hope. Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for the assurance that You are always with him. Strengthen his faith, deepen his trust in You, and let him walk in the fullness of Your purpose for his life.
We rebuke any fear, doubt, or distraction that may seek to hinder his walk with You. May he fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith, and may he find peace in knowing that You go before him and stand beside him in every situation. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
