We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before You with deep concern and trust in Your unfailing love and protection. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over this young life, asking that You dispatch Your heavenly hosts to encamp around him, shielding him from all harm and evil.
Lord, we pray specifically for deliverance from every form of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of abuse, fear, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Expose every hidden deed of darkness, Lord, and bring it into the light, for You are the God who reveals secrets and uncovers iniquity (Daniel 2:22).
Father, we ask that You surround him with godly influences—mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into his heart. Protect his mind from lies and deception, and let Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). Strengthen his spirit to resist temptation and stand firm in his identity as Your beloved child. May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and with man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for his parents and caregivers. Equip them with the courage to act on his behalf, to speak up when necessary, and to create a safe and nurturing environment where he can thrive. Give them the strength to model Christ-like love, patience, and forgiveness, so that he may see Your character reflected in their lives.
Lord, if there has been any sin or unforgiveness in this situation—whether known or unknown—we ask for Your cleansing and healing. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We pray for repentance where it is needed and for Your grace to cover every wound. Pour out Your healing balm over any pain he has endured, and restore what has been broken.
Above all, we pray that this son would come to know You personally, if he does not already. There is no greater protection than the salvation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 reminds us, "That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." We ask that You draw him to Yourself, reveal Your love to him, and seal him with the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of his inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-14).
In the name of Jesus, the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep, we declare victory over every scheme of the enemy. We stand on the truth that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to watch over this child. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in his life, and we rest in the assurance that nothing can separate him from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).
Amen.
