We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before You with deep concern and trust in Your mighty power to protect and deliver. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over this young man’s life, asking that You dispatch Your heavenly host to encamp around him, shielding him from every form of harm—physical, emotional, or spiritual.
Father, we ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness that seeks to harm him. As Ephesians 5:11 commands, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." Let no scheme of the enemy go unnoticed, and bring every secret sin, abuse, or oppression into the light. We rebuke every spirit of fear, trauma, or bondage in Jesus’ name, declaring that this son is covered by the blood of Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who care for him—parents, guardians, and spiritual leaders. Grant them the courage to act swiftly and justly if any threat arises, and fill their hearts with Your peace as they trust in You. We stand on Proverbs 18:10, "Yahweh’s name is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe."
We pray that this son would grow in the knowledge of Your love and truth, that he would find his identity in Christ alone. Surround him with godly influences—mentors, friends, and a church family who will speak life into him and model Your ways. May he never stray from the path of righteousness, but walk in the fullness of Your purpose for his life.
Father, we also take a moment to address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ—our Savior, Redeemer, and Mediator—that we have access to You. As Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If this son does not yet know Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself, that he would repent of his sins and place his faith in Christ alone for salvation. Let him experience the transforming power of Your grace and the security of being Your child.
We declare over him the truth of Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me." We stand in the gap, covering him with our prayers and intercession, trusting that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in his life.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
