We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before You with deep concern and trust in Your sovereign protection. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over this young man’s life, asking that You dispatch Your heavenly host to encamp around him, shielding him from every form of harm.
Lord, we specifically ask for Your hedge of protection against abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand against his schemes in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that any hidden darkness surrounding this son would be exposed by Your light, as Ephesians 5:11 commands, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them." Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every plan of the enemy be thwarted.
Father, we also ask that You would strengthen this young man’s spirit with Your truth and peace. May he know his worth in You, that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Surround him with godly influences—mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life and encouragement into him. If he has wandered from Your path, draw him back with cords of love (Hosea 11:4).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, oppression, or trauma that may be attempting to take root in his life. In the name of Jesus, we break every generational curse or cycle of abuse and declare that this son is set free by the power of the cross (Galatians 5:1). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in boldness, wisdom, and discernment.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and courage for his parents or guardians. Equip them to guide, protect, and nurture him according to Your will. Give them the strength to stand firm in faith, even when circumstances seem overwhelming.
