We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for him, declaring Your promises of protection and deliverance over his life. The Bible assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, we claim this promise for your son, asking that You dispatch Your heavenly hosts to encamp around him, shielding him from every form of harm and abuse.
We also pray that You would expose every hidden work of darkness that seeks to harm him. Ephesians 5:11 reminds us, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them." Father, let Your light shine brightly in every area of his life, revealing any schemes of the enemy and bringing them to nothing. We rebuke every spirit of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual—in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You would surround him with godly mentors, friends, and influences who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into his heart. Protect his mind from lies and deception, and let Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). Strengthen him with Your Spirit so that he may stand firm in his faith, knowing that You are his refuge and fortress.
We also pray for healing in any areas where he may have already experienced pain or trauma. Bind up his wounds, Lord, and restore his soul (Psalm 23:3). Let him know that he is deeply loved by You and by those who care for him. May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52).
