We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Heavenly Father, we come before You with deep concern and trust, knowing that You are a refuge and fortress for those who seek Your protection. We ask that You indeed place a hedge of protection around this young man, shielding him from every form of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* Lord, we claim this promise over him, asking that Your angels encamp around him, guarding his steps and keeping him safe from all harm.
Father, we also pray that You expose every deed of darkness that seeks to harm him. Ephesians 5:11 reminds us, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them."* We ask that You bring hidden dangers, deceit, and evil intentions into the light, that justice may prevail and that those who seek to harm him may be thwarted by Your mighty hand. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, as You have promised in Isaiah 54:17.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or oppression that may be trying to take root in his life. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen him with Your peace, Lord, and fill his heart with the assurance of Your presence. Remind him daily that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a purpose and plan for his life.
We also pray for his spiritual well-being, that he would grow in wisdom and discernment. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Guide his steps, Lord, and draw him closer to You. May he find his identity, worth, and strength in You alone.
Father, we ask that You surround him with godly influences—mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak truth into his life and encourage him to walk in Your ways. Protect his mind from the lies of the enemy and fill him with Your truth. Help him to stand firm in his faith, even in the face of adversity, knowing that You are with him always.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through His name that we have access to You. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we declare that this son is covered by the blood of Jesus, shielded by His grace, and held securely in Your hands. Amen.
May this young man feel Your peace and protection surrounding him today and always. We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, and we thank You for hearing our prayer.
