We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we stand in the gap for him, declaring Your promises of protection and deliverance over his life. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we proclaim that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, for You are his refuge and fortress, his God in whom he trusts (Isaiah 54:17, Psalm 91:2).
Lord, we ask that You would indeed place a hedge of protection around him—spirit, soul, and body. Guard his mind from the lies of the enemy, his heart from bitterness and fear, and his body from harm. We rebuke every spirit of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual—in the mighty name of Jesus. We command every assignment of darkness to be exposed and brought to light, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your light shine in every dark place, revealing the schemes of the enemy and breaking their power.
Father, we thank You for dispatching Your holy angels to encamp around him, to guard and keep him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). May he walk in the confidence of Your presence, knowing that You are with him wherever he goes (Joshua 1:9). Strengthen him with Your might, and fill him with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9-11).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who have authority over him—parents, teachers, mentors, and spiritual leaders. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying, that they may guide him in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
Lord, if there are areas in his life where he has not yet surrendered fully to You, we ask that You draw him with cords of love. May he come to know You as his Savior and Lord, if he does not already, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May he grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, becoming a man after Your own heart.
We declare that this son is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We stand on Your Word, which says that the righteous are as bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1) and that those who trust in You will never be put to shame (Psalm 25:3).
In the name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of fear, trauma, and oppression, and we loose the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to watch over Your Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). May this son walk in the fullness of Your protection, purpose, and peace all the days of his life. Amen.
