We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s mighty protection over his life. The Scriptures assure us that God is a refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble. "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone" (Psalm 91:11-12). We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would surround him with Your hedge of protection, shielding him from every form of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose every hidden work of darkness, for "everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that is illuminated becomes light itself" (Ephesians 5:13-14). Let no evil go unchecked, and let Your justice prevail in every situation where he may be vulnerable. We bind every spirit of fear, oppression, or harm and command it to flee in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares that "perfect love casts out fear" (1 John 4:18), and we pray that Your love would overshadow him, bringing peace and security.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for your son, that he would recognize and avoid situations or influences that could bring harm. "Behold, I send an angel before you, to keep you by the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared" (Exodus 23:20). May he walk in the light of Your truth, and may Your angels encamp around him, guarding his steps.
Lord, if there are areas in his life where he may be struggling—whether in his thoughts, friendships, or choices—we ask that You would draw near to him. Give him godly mentors, friends, and influences who will speak life and truth into him. Strengthen his faith and help him to stand firm in Your promises, knowing that "the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
We rebuke every plan of the enemy against his life, mind, and future. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that abundance—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—over your son. May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52).
Finally, we pray that your son would come to know You more deeply, if he does not already. There is no greater protection than the salvation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). If he has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw him, soften his heart, and lead him to repentance and faith. For it is in the name of Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and it is only through Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your unfailing love and power to protect, guide, and bless this young man. May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the fullness of Your purpose for him. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
