We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father in Heaven, we ask that You indeed place a hedge of protection around him, as You did for Job, so that no harm may come near him. "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone" (Psalm 91:11-12). Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray that You would expose every deed of darkness that seeks to harm him, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Let Your light shine into every hidden place, for "everything that is revealed is light" (Ephesians 5:13). We rebuke every spirit of abuse, fear, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus, and we command them to flee. We declare that this son is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil shall touch him.
Father, we ask that You send Your holy angels to encamp around him, to guard and keep him in all his ways. May he walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that You are his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Strengthen him with Your might, and fill his heart with the assurance of Your love and protection.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who care for him. May they be guided by Your Holy Spirit to recognize any signs of danger and to act swiftly to protect him. Surround him with godly influences and mentors who will speak life and truth into his heart.
Lord, if there are any areas in his life where he may be vulnerable, we ask that You would fortify him with Your strength. Teach him to trust in You with all his heart and to lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May he grow in the knowledge of Your Word and in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).
We declare that this son is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a purpose and a plan for his life. May he walk in the fullness of Your calling, unshaken by the schemes of the enemy. We stand in agreement with Your Word, which says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
