We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we ask that You indeed place a hedge of protection around him, as You did for Job, that no harm may come near him. "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." (Psalm 91:11) We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You shall condemn. (Isaiah 54:17)
Lord, we pray for deliverance from every form of abuse—physical, emotional, and spiritual. You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. (Psalm 9:9) We ask that You expose every deed of darkness that seeks to harm him, for "everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for everything that is illuminated becomes a light itself." (Ephesians 5:13-14) Let Your light shine into every hidden place, revealing the schemes of the enemy and rendering them powerless.
We also pray that You send Your holy angels to encamp around him, to guard and keep him in all his ways. May they minister to him, strengthen him, and deliver him from every snare of the enemy. (Hebrews 1:14, Psalm 34:7) Father, we ask that You surround him with godly influences—mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into his heart. Let him walk in the counsel of the godly and not in the way of sinners. (Psalm 1:1)
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, trauma, or oppression that may have gained access to his life. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, and that no evil shall befall him, nor any plague come near his dwelling. (Romans 8:37, Psalm 91:10) Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him grow in the knowledge of Your love and protection. May he find his identity and security in You alone, knowing that You are his ever-present help in times of trouble. (Psalm 46:1)
We pray that he would come to know You intimately, if he does not already, and that he would walk in the fullness of Your purpose for his life. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) May he be rooted and grounded in Your love, shielded by Your power, and guided by Your Holy Spirit.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
