We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, standing in agreement for his protection and deliverance from every form of harm. Your prayer reflects a parent’s heart crying out for their child, and we know the Father hears you. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* What a mighty promise that our God is a protector, a shield, and a strong tower for those who trust in Him!
Yet we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world! We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask the Lord to expose every hidden scheme of darkness, just as you’ve prayed. The light of Christ shatters deception, and we trust that God will bring truth to the surface in His perfect timing.
We also encourage you to continue covering your son in prayer daily, speaking life and God’s promises over him. Teach him to walk in wisdom, to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and to trust in the Lord with all his heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there are areas where he may be vulnerable—whether through friendships, influences, or personal struggles—ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in how to shepherd him with both grace and truth.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who sees and hears the cries of Your children. We ask that You surround this son with Your divine protection, that You would place a hedge of thorns around him so that no harm can penetrate. Break every chain of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and bring healing where there has been wounding. Let Your angels encamp around him, and let Your light expose and dismantle every work of darkness. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and draw him ever closer to You. We pray for godly influences in his life—mentors, friends, and leaders who will point him to Christ. And Lord, we ask that You would strengthen this parent with faith, perseverance, and Your unshakable hope. May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through his story. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
