We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his protection and deliverance from every form of harm. Your prayer is rooted in deep love and concern, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our God is mighty to save and faithful to watch over His children. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* What a powerful promise that the Lord Himself commands His angels to guard and protect those who belong to Him.
We also remember the words of 2 Thessalonians 3:3, *"But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."* Your son is not hidden from the sight of God, and the Lord sees every threat, every scheme of the enemy, and every need. You have prayed for a hedge of protection, and we declare that hedge to be impenetrable by the power of the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against him will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
You have also asked the Lord to expose the deeds of darkness, and we affirm this prayer with the truth of Ephesians 5:11-13: *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of. But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light."* Father, shine Your light into every hidden place. Bring to light anything that has been done in secret, and let Your truth prevail. Break every chain of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual—and set your son free from any oppression or bondage.
We also pray for your son’s heart and mind to be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he be filled with the knowledge of God’s love for him, and may he walk in the confidence that he is a child of the King, redeemed and protected by the blood of Jesus. If there are areas in his life where he needs to turn away from sin or rebellion, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him gently but firmly, leading him to repentance and a deeper walk with Christ.
Father, we ask that You would surround your son with godly influences—people who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into his life. Remove any ungodly relationships or influences that would seek to harm or mislead him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and let him be a light in the darkness, standing firm in his faith.
We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers and that You are already at work on behalf of your son. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect timing. Strengthen this mother’s faith as she continues to intercede for her child. Remind her that her prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16), and that You are a God who delights in answering the cries of Your people.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
