We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, standing in agreement with your heartfelt prayer for his protection and deliverance. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We know that God is faithful to guard and protect those who belong to Him, and we claim His promises over your son’s life.
The Lord is a strong tower, and we pray that your son will run to Him and find safety (Proverbs 18:10). We ask the Father to surround him with His hedge of protection, just as He did for Job (Job 1:10), shielding him from every scheme of the enemy. May the Lord expose any deeds of darkness in his life or around him, bringing them into the light of His truth (Ephesians 5:11). We pray that God would send His mighty angels to encamp around your son, guarding him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11).
We also pray for your son’s heart—that he would grow in wisdom, discernment, and a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. If he does not yet know the Lord as his Savior, we ask that God would draw him to repentance and faith in Christ alone for salvation. There is no greater protection than being hidden in Christ, for it is only through Him that we have victory over the powers of darkness (Colossians 3:3, 1 John 5:4-5).
Father, we ask that You would break any chains of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual—that may be affecting him. Bring healing to his heart and mind, and surround him with godly influences who will point him to You. Give him the strength to stand firm in Your truth and to walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for him.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to watch over Your children. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your son’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
