Beloved of All
Jesus please let my son cooperate, go to bed, and get up today for his class. Please let the interview that I have go well and me be able to stay awake for it. Please also let my mother-in-law not be difficult when we have to go to her today to help her. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear sister, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the Lord. It is clear you are carrying much, caring for your son, preparing for an important interview, and tending to your mother-in-law, all while seeking the Lord’s help. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God is faithful to sustain you in every responsibility He has placed before you.

First, we pray for your son, that the Lord would soften his heart and grant him a spirit of obedience and discipline. The Scriptures tell us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). We ask that God would help him to honor your guidance, rise with purpose for his class, and rest at the proper time. Father, we also rebuke any spirit of rebellion or laziness that may be at work in him, and we declare that he is called to walk in wisdom and diligence. May he grow into a young man who seeks You above all else.

For your interview, we pray that the Lord would grant you clarity of mind, confidence in your abilities, and peace that surpasses understanding. "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). We ask that You would sharpen your focus, strengthen your body to remain alert, and open the right doors of opportunity. May this interview be a testimony to Your provision and favor in your life.

Regarding your mother-in-law, we pray for grace to abound in your interactions with her. The Word instructs us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB). We ask that the Lord would soften her heart and yours, that patience and kindness would flow between you. If there is any tension or difficulty, we declare that it would be dissolved in the name of Jesus. Give you both the strength to serve one another in love, as Christ has loved us.

We also want to gently encourage you in your walk with the Lord. You closed your prayer in Jesus’ name, which is powerful and essential, for "there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). We rejoice that you have called on Him, for salvation and help come only through Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Him, not just for these requests, but for your eternal salvation. Jesus died for your sins, rose again, and offers forgiveness and new life to all who believe in Him. If you have already done so, we praise God for your faith and encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You now in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her family. Lord, You see her weariness, her responsibilities, and her heart for her loved ones. We ask that You would move powerfully in each of these situations. Give her son a heart that seeks You, grant her success and alertness in her interview, and pour out Your peace in her time with her mother-in-law. Strengthen her faith, renew her hope, and remind her that she does not carry these burdens alone. You are her ever-present help in times of need.

We declare that Your will be done in each of these areas, and we trust You to work all things together for good. May Your name be glorified in every outcome. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight of today in your words, a son to get out the door, an interview to focus through, and a mother-in-law who needs your help, all before the sun has fully set. It’s a lot to hold at once, and we’re sitting with you in it.

When everything seems to hinge on how other people respond, it can feel like you’re carrying the day on your shoulders alone. We’ve found that sometimes the smallest, quietest move makes the biggest difference: before you nudge your son again or walk into that interview, pause for just ten seconds and silently place each worry into the Lord’s hands, by name. Not as a formula, but as a way of reminding your own heart that you aren’t the one holding it all together.

For the interview, if you’re able, a brief moment of fresh air or a glass of cold water right beforehand can help you feel more awake and steady. For your son, even a calm, matter-of-fact “I believe you can do this today” can sometimes shift the atmosphere more than a string of reminders. And with your mother-in-law, maybe just resolve in advance that her tone today doesn’t have to set yours. You can go to her as a daughter-in-law who is simply there to help, not to absorb every friction.

We’re praying that even in the middle of the busyness, you’ll sense that Jesus is with you, not distant, but right in the next room, in the car, in the hallway. He sees each need, and he isn’t overwhelmed by any of them. You don’t have to manufacture peace; you can breathe it in from him, one step at a time.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this mother and her full day. Grant her son a willing heart, a good night’s sleep, and a smooth morning for class. Give her clarity, alertness, and peace during her interview, and let her feel your steady presence through it all. Make her time with her mother-in-law gentle, keep conflict far away, and let help be given and received in kindness. Sustain her, Lord, and carry the weight she has been carrying. In your name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we bring Your child before You, asking for Your grace and strength to cover this day. We pray for her son, that You would grant him a cooperative spirit, restful sleep, and the energy to wake up and attend his class, for You give rest to those You love (Psalm 127:2). We ask for Your divine favor over her job interview, that You would grant her clarity, alertness, and the right words to speak, for the mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom (Proverbs 15:2). Please sustain her energy and keep her awake and focused, for those who hope in You will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).

Lord, we also pray for her mother-in-law, that You would soften her heart and bring a spirit of peace and cooperation during their time together. We ask that any tension would be diffused and that Your love would guide their interactions, for a gentle answer turns away wrath (Proverbs 15:1). We thank You that You are with her every step of the way and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). In Jesus' name, Amen.

Stand over your work, be instant, standing over it, in season and out of season, constant and instant in the service of your blessed Lord and Master! It is not merely in the House of Prayer that God has His elect, they may be tonight in the alehouse, or in the theatre, or in still worse places, but the Spirit of God can find them wherever they are! The very essence of obedience, I have said, lies in exactness. Probably your child, if sometimes disobedient, would still, as a general rule, do what you told him. It would be in the little things that thoroughgoing and commendable obedience would appear.

When you rise in the morning and come down to your day's work, you choose to be somewhat neat. You do not go out to your business slip-shod and half-dressed, but you array yourself according to your station in an appropriate manner. Listen to the morning call. The hour of the day is that in which men should rise and begin their daily service. It remains that we walk forth and behave as in the Light of God. Let us walk honestly, as in the day. How should a child of light conduct himself?

If obedience to that command is truly rendered, there will follow obedience to all the Savior's commands. No man is really saved unless he is, in his heart, obedient to Christ. I do not say that you will be perfect, but you will desire to be so. The obedience which seeks to know the Lord's will also indicates the truest sincerity. Have you not found out yet, I have, that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty, unfits you to meet that difficulty? If you sometimes find that you must live from hand to mouth, remember that you are not the first child of God who has had his manna every morning.

These holy women, in the way of obedience rewarded, as they went to tell His disciples, Jesus met them. And having seen and touched their Lord, they were now sent away perfectly calm and happy in the Lord. Obey the Lord with all your mind and all your heart, in the way of faith, if you would find salvation. The obedience of a child, not the obedience of a slave; the obedience of love, not of terror; the obedience of faith, not of dread. The more of faith in Him you have, the more of obedience to Him will you manifest. Faith is the morning star of obedience. He who believes on the Son has everlasting life. Believe in His Manhood sympathizing with you. Believe in His Godhead able to help you. Let your reply be, we dwell in the realm of faith. We are children of light, worshipping our God by bowing our whole minds to the obedience of faith.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You bring these requests to Jesus, asking for your son's cooperation, for your interview, and for your mother-in-law's gentle demeanor. This is fitting, for we are to cast our cares on Him. Yet consider what true peace is, and where it begins. Peace is the mother of all good things; where it is lacking, everything is useless. The peace you long for in your home and your heart must first be rooted in the peace which Christ left us, saying, "My peace I give unto you." If you yourself are tossed by anxiety, how can you bring calm to your son or your mother-in-law? For as in the body, if one member is at war, the whole is disturbed. Seek then the peace that the Spirit of life gives, the law of the Spirit that frees you from the law of sin and inward turmoil.

For your son: pray indeed, but also let your own quiet trust in God be his teacher. A peaceful spirit in you will do more than many commands. For your interview: commit it to God, and the Spirit who raised Christ from the dead will quicken your mortal body; do not fear weariness, for He gives strength to the weary. And for your mother-in-law: remember the commandment, "Honor your father and mother." Our Lord indeed said He came to set a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, yet He calls us to be peacemakers, the very children of God. When she is difficult, recall how Christ stood silent before His accusers. A harsh word kindles strife, but gentle patience extinguishes it. In this you are not aiming at mere outward quiet, but at winning her soul for God. Therefore, go in the peace of Christ, and let the peacemaker's reward be yours.
