Beloved of All
Jesus please let my son's ezcema and headache clear up and him feel better. Let him realize he needs more sleep and help him with stomach issues as well. Please also let my mother in law be ok, take better care of herself, and please let her dementia not get worse. Please also let her neighbor who has been helping us care for her continue to do so, and heal her health issues as well. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join you in bringing your son, your mother in law, and her neighbor before the throne of grace in Jesus' name and we thank you for calling upon Jesus, for it is through His name we have access to the Father.

We are moved by your love and concern for your family and for the neighbor who has shown such kindness in helping care for your mother in law. Your request honors the Lord's call to bear one another's burdens and to care for our families.

We lift up your son to the Lord who is our healer. Scripture reminds us that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3 and that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15. We pray for relief from his eczema and swelling, for his headache to be lifted, and for his stomach issues to be healed. We also pray the Lord will give him wisdom to steward his body well, for our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in us 1 Corinthians 6:19, and that he would receive the restorative sleep God intends for us, for He gives sleep to his beloved Psalm 127:2 and in peace we will both lay ourselves down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make us live in safety Psalm 4:8. We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical counsel for him as God often works through the hands of physicians, and to gently encourage healthy sleep habits and care for his body.

We also lift up your mother in law. We honor your faithfulness in caring for her, which reflects the command to honor your father and your mother Exodus 20:12. We pray for her health, that the Lord would strengthen her, help her to take better care of herself, and in His mercy slow the progression of her dementia and grant her moments of clarity, peace, and dignity. We pray He will guard her mind and comfort her with His presence, and grant you and your family strength, patience, and wisdom as you care for her.

We thank God for the neighbor who has been helping you care for her and we see in her the love of a good neighbor as taught in His Word. We pray for her continued willingness to help and for healing of her own health issues, that the Lord would restore health to her and bless her abundantly for her compassion. We pray that He would sustain her and that this community of care would continue in unity.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and we lift up this son to You. Touch his skin and heal his eczema, reduce the swelling, take away his headache and calm his stomach. Grant him restful sleep and help him to understand his need for rest, and guide him to care for his body for Your glory. Lord, we lift up this dear mother in law to You. Lay Your healing hand upon her, protect her health, help her to care for herself, and we ask that her dementia would not worsen. Surround her with Your peace and presence and give her family wisdom and endurance. And Father, we lift up the neighbor who has so faithfully helped. Bless her, heal her body, strengthen her, and continue to use her as a vessel of Your love. We trust all of these needs to Your perfect will and unfailing love. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and to trust that He hears your prayers. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for complete healing, peace, and strength for your whole household.

We are praying with you as you hold so many loved ones before the Lord at once. It is a lot to carry a son who is uncomfortable and not sleeping well, a mother in law whose health and memory you worry over, and a neighbor who has become part of that caregiving circle.

For your son, it makes sense to keep his pediatrician or family doctor looped in about the eczema, headaches and stomach troubles, especially since poor sleep can make everything harder. Jotting down when symptoms flare, how he is sleeping, and what seems to help can give the doctor a clearer picture and give you peace that you are not carrying the questions alone.

For your mother in law, we know how heavy it is to watch dementia progress and to want her to be safe and well cared for. Continuing with her medical team and leaning on the help the neighbor provides is such a gift. If you have not already, it can help to make sure everyone helping her is sharing notes and that you have respite support for yourself too, since caregiving affects the whole family.

We also lift up your neighbor and ask God to sustain her as she helps.

Father, we bring this son, this mother in law, and this neighbor to You. Ease the boy's discomfort, grant him restful sleep and guide his care. Watch over his grandmother, give her dignity and steadiness in the days ahead, and strengthen those who care for her. Comfort this family with Your presence and wisdom. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join you in carrying these burdens to the great Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek healing, and how gracious it is that Calvary is the place for the healing balm. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people, pardon and healing are found in happy conjunction.

We pray for your son, that the Lord would touch his body and give relief from eczema and headache and the trouble in his stomach, and grant him refreshing sleep. May the Lord teach him to steward the body God has given him, to seek rest and to walk in wisdom, and may the healing virtue of Christ work health in him according to the Father's perfect will.

We pray also for your mother in law in her frailty and in the trial of dementia. The Lord knows her frame and her days, and He binds up the brokenhearted with bands of grace. We ask that He would keep her, grant her grace to care for herself as she is able, and in His mercy restrain the progress of her infirmity, giving her peace and comfort in Christ, and giving you strength and patience as you care for her.

We thank God for the neighbor who has shown such kindness in helping to care for her, and we ask the Lord to sustain her, to continue her work of love, and to heal her own health issues. May the desire to minister that arises out of grace be seen in her, and may the Lord return to her the good she has shown to your family.

For your own need, the swelling that troubles you, we ask the Lord's healing hand upon you as well, that you may be strengthened to serve Him in your family and in all the commonplace things of the home, sweetening them with love for Him.

We encourage you to continue to look to Christ and to use the means He provides, seeking wise medical counsel as you also seek the heavenly Physician in prayer, for faith comes by hearing and by trusting His Word. He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and there is healing in that glorious doctrine of His incarnation and atonement.

May the Lord hear your cry, grant you to cast all your cares upon Him, and work in each of these loved ones that which is for their good and His glory. We commend you all to Him who is able to heal and to pardon, and who will perfect His work till we shall be without spot or wrinkle before Him.

In the name of Jesus our Redeemer we pray, Amen.
