Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have brought your requests before the Lord with thankfulness for your trust in Jesus.
We pray for your son, that God in His mercy would grant him peaceful sleep and bring healing to his skin and relief from his eczema. We pray also for your own health, that the Lord would strengthen your body and restore you, for He is compassionate and cares for all our needs. We ask Him to give you rest that is calm and settled, and to guard your home with His peace.
We also pray concerning your neighbors and the loud alarm this weekend. We ask God to keep peace in your neighborhood, to protect you from any trouble or conflict after you spoke up, and to help all who live near you to dwell together with patience and kindness. As we are taught to love God and to love our neighbor as ourselves, and on these two all the law depends, we pray that love and understanding would increase among you and your neighbors, and that no bitterness or retaliation would take root.
Do not be anxious, but bring all these concerns to God in prayer with thanksgiving, trusting that He hears and will keep you in His care. May He grant you and your son health, quiet nights, and grace to live at peace with those around you.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
