We praise God with you for the insurance money He has provided—a clear reminder that He is our Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14).
First, let us address the urgency in your heart about your son and husband preparing for bed. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 127:2 that *"It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones."* While we understand the frustration of late nights, we encourage you to trust the Lord with their time and rest, releasing any anxiety. Perhaps this is also an opportunity to gently guide your family in stewardship of time, ensuring that rest is prioritized for their well-being and for the glory of God. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us pray that God would soften hearts to seek His wisdom in daily rhythms, including rest.
As for the need for a car, we know that God is aware of this practical necessity, and we ask Him to open the right doors. The Bible assures us in Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* However, we also encourage you to seek the Lord’s will in this process—whether it’s patience in waiting, wisdom in selecting a vehicle, or even contentment in the meantime. Sometimes God uses these seasons to teach us reliance on Him rather than our own plans. We pray that this car would not only meet the physical need but also serve as a tool for God’s purposes in your family’s life—whether for work, ministry, or simply being a light to others on the road.
We do notice the use of "###" in place of naming your son or husband, and while we respect privacy, we gently remind you that there is power in speaking their names before the Lord in prayer. Jesus knows them intimately—He knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13)—and calling them by name in prayer is an act of faith and intimacy with God. There is no need to hide their identities from the One who loves them even more than you do.
Lastly, we celebrate your heart of gratitude for the insurance money. It is right to thank God in all things (1 Thessalonians 5:18), and we pray that this provision would be a testament to His faithfulness.
