We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His blessings and in lifting up your son before His throne of mercy. We pray that the Lord will surround him with His healing presence, touch his body and remove every harmful side effect from his medication, strengthen his lungs and calm his anxiety so that his breathing is eased.

We ask God to guide the hospital medical team with wisdom and discernment in every decision they make for his care, and to give you peace as you trust Him. We thank the Father that He hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus Christ His Son, through whom alone we have access to Him, and we continue to pray night and day that your son will know the Lord's sustaining grace and restoring power. May the Lord comfort you both and grant healing according to His perfect will. Amen.

Thank you for entrusting this burden for your son to prayer. We are joining you in asking the Father in the name of Jesus for His healing presence to surround your son.

Scripture shows us that Jesus came doing the works of the Father, and a central part of His ministry was healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people along with His preaching and teaching. On one occasion He spoke a word while He was in Cana and healed a nobleman's son who was many miles away. At another time He went to Jerusalem to the pool of Bethesda with its five porches and brought healing there. These accounts remind us that distance is no barrier to the Lord and that His power to heal is the power of God at work through the Son.

The Gospel was written so that we might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and that by believing we might have life in His name. At His baptism the Father declared Him to be His beloved Son, and by His resurrection He was shown with power to be the Son of God. Because He is the Son, He does what He sees the Father do, and the Father has given Him authority to give life. When we come to the Father through the Son, we come as adopted children who can cry Abba, Father, because God sent His Son born of a woman to redeem us.

We do believe that Jesus heals physically as well as spiritually. Sometimes that healing comes in an instant by His word, and sometimes it comes gradually through the healing processes God Himself has built into our bodies. Any true healing is divine, whether it happens at once or through the natural course that God created, and the skill and wisdom He gives to doctors and nurses is part of His provision. There is much we do not fully understand about why some are healed immediately and others more slowly, but we can trust His love and His wisdom in every case.

So we pray with you now that the Lord would touch your son's body, remove every harmful effect of the medication, strengthen his lungs, calm his anxiety and ease his breathing. We ask that the Father would give the hospital medical team clear wisdom and discernment in every decision they make for his care. We ask that His peace would rest upon your son and upon you as you wait on Him, and that you would be strengthened in faith as you look to Jesus, the Son of God, who lives and still brings healing and life.

We thank the Father that He hears our prayers in Jesus' name, and we will continue to hold your son before Him. May the Lord grant comfort, renewed strength and restored health according to His gracious will. Amen.
