Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

We join you in bringing your son before our heavenly Father and we thank you for sharing this burden with us. We pray that the Lord in His great mercy would surround him with His healing presence, touch his body and remove every harmful effect of his medication. We ask Him to strengthen his lungs, to calm his anxiety and to ease his breathing, granting him rest and comfort.

We also pray that God would guide the medical team with wisdom and discernment in every decision they make for his care. We remember that even as physicians give their best care, all healing ultimately rests in the providence of God, who cares for both body and soul. As Scripture shows us, the Lord does not overlook our bodily infirmities but looks upon us with compassion and mercy.

We will continue to pray with you for his restoration and peace, trusting in the Father's goodness and power to sustain him, and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your heartfelt prayer for your son is heard, and I join you in bringing him before the Father in the name of Jesus.

Scripture shows us that Jesus healed with a spoken word even when He was not in the same place as the one who was sick. When He was in Cana a nobleman came to Him about his son who was gravely ill, and Jesus spoke, and at a distance of many miles that son was made well. Later in Jerusalem by the pool called Bethesda with its five porches, He again showed His power to heal. His ministry was marked by preaching and teaching and healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people, and that same compassion is present now. We can trust Him for physical healing as well as spiritual healing, because the Son does only what He sees the Father do, and His works are the works of God. The Father has given all honor to the Son, and when we come to the Son we are coming to the Father who sent Him.

I pray with you that the Lord will touch your son's body, remove the harmful effects of the medication, strengthen his lungs and calm the anxiety that makes breathing difficult. Remember that all healing is from God. Sometimes it comes in a moment, sometimes it comes gradually through the healing processes God Himself has placed within our bodies. Both are divine, because God created those natural processes. Whether the relief is immediate or step by step, it is still His hand at work, and He can bring peace to the mind and emotions as well as to the body.

I also join you in asking for wisdom for those caring for him. God is the giver of wisdom, and He delights to give discernment to those who seek it, that they may make sound and careful decisions.

Above all, we rest on who Jesus is. He is the promised Messiah, the Son of David according to His humanity and declared to be the Son of God with power by His resurrection. The Father Himself declared from heaven, this is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Peter confessed, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God, and Jesus said that faith is the rock upon which He builds His church. The purpose of the Gospel of John is stated plainly, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and by believing have life in His name. As Abraham was called to offer his only son whom he loved, a picture of how the Father would give His only begotten Son for the world, so we see how great the Father's love is. He loves you and your son with that same faithful love.

May the Lord surround your son with His presence, ease his breathing, restore his strength, and grant you peace as you trust His care. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who lives and heals and gives life to whom He will.
