We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, the Great Physician, who alone holds the power to heal and restore. We declare over him the promise of Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Father, we ask that You would indeed touch his body, removing every harmful effect of medication and strengthening his lungs as You did for the lame man at the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3:7). Calm his anxiety with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and ease his breathing as You are the One who formed his inward parts (Psalm 139:13).
We pray for the medical team treating him, asking that You would grant them divine wisdom and discernment. May they be guided by Your hand as Luke, the beloved physician, was in his care for the early church (Colossians 4:14). We rebuke any spirit of fear or confusion in the name of Jesus, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we also lift up this family to You, asking that You would surround them with Your comfort and strength. May they find rest in Your presence, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, even when the path seems uncertain. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Keep seeking His face, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Hold fast to His promises, for He is faithful.
