We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, standing firm on the promise that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to restore and renew. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We claim this promise over your son, Lord, and ask for Your healing touch to mend every eroded part of his esophagus and soothe every trace of inflammation.
We pray that You would regulate the acid in his stomach, bringing balance and relief where there is discomfort. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed his body in the womb (Psalm 139:13), and we trust in Your intimate knowledge of his needs. Strengthen his body, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he feel Your presence surrounding him, comforting him, and reminding him that he is never alone in this battle.
We also ask that You would grant wisdom to the doctors and healthcare providers attending to him. Guide their hands and their decisions, that they may be instruments of Your healing (Proverbs 3:5-6). Father, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28), and we trust that even in this trial, You are working for his good and Your glory.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold in this situation. Your Word tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear has no place here, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We believe in Your power to heal and restore, and we wait expectantly for Your mighty hand to move in this situation. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
