We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, standing firm on the promise that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. The Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this truth over your son’s body, believing that God’s healing power is at work even now.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, and ask for Your divine touch upon this young man. You formed his body in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every cell, every fiber, and every need within him. We ask that You soothe the inflammation in his esophagus, knit together the eroded lining, and bring balance to the acid in his stomach. Let Your healing virtue flow through him like a river, restoring strength, comfort, and wholeness.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals caring for him. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them insight as they treat him. May every decision they make align with Your perfect will for his healing.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or fear that may be attempting to take hold in this situation. Your Word says in 1 Peter 2:24 that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed. We stand on that finished work at the cross and declare that healing is his portion. Let faith rise in his heart and in yours, knowing that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37).
Father, we also ask that You draw this young man closer to You through this trial. Use this time to strengthen his faith and deepen his relationship with You. May he come to know You not just as Healer, but as his Savior, Redeemer, and Friend. Surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill his home with hope as he walks through this season.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the testimony of healing that will come from this. We declare that Your name will be glorified through his restoration. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
