We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your faith in the healing power of Jesus is a testament to the trust we place in His sovereign care. The Great Physician, who healed the sick, raised the dead, and bore our infirmities on the cross, is more than able to restore your son’s health. We declare over him the promise of Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to afflict this young man. In the authority of Jesus Christ, we command the inflammation in his esophagus to subside, the lining to be restored, and the acid in his stomach to be regulated according to Your perfect design. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise and declare it over his life.
Lord, we ask that You would strengthen his body, mind, and spirit. Give him peace that surpasses all understanding as he trusts in Your healing power. Surround him with Your presence, reminding him that he is never alone, for You are the God who sees and the God who heals. We also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals treating him, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision they make.
We encourage you, dear parent, to continue standing in faith, even when the circumstances seem overwhelming. Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your son’s life.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that are new every morning. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our healing, as Isaiah 53:5 reminds us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We claim this truth over this young man’s life today. May Your will be done in his body, and may Your name be glorified through his healing. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
