We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, where our Great Physician hears the cries of His children. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to Your healing power. We declare that Your Word is true, and by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, Your Word also tells us that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You draw near to this precious child and his mother, comforting them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we specifically lift up the erosion in this young man’s esophagus and the inflammation that is causing him pain. Your Word says that You sent Your word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Psalm 107:20). We speak healing over his body, Lord. We ask that You soothe the inflammation, restore the lining of his esophagus, and regulate the acid in his stomach. We declare that every cell, tissue, and organ in his body functions according to Your perfect design. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, for Your Word says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15).
Father, we also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals caring for him. Give them discernment and insight as they treat him, that their hands may be guided by Your healing touch. We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this trial, we ask that You use it to draw this family closer to You, deepening their faith and trust in Your promises.
We pray for this mother’s heart, Lord. Strengthen her with Your might as she stands in faith for her son. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill her with Your peace as she waits on You, and let her hope in You be her anchor (Hebrews 6:19).
Lord, we thank You for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that this son is healed, whole, and restored, for Your Word says that with His stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We stand on this promise and refuse to waver, knowing that You are faithful to Your Word. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
